Lol, wow... So I pretty much quit blockland and switched to first person shooters like tribes, and... wow... The drama has only gone downhill. You're a cool guy adam, but I quit. I'm pretty much done with blockland other than casual joining servers anyway.

The loop stops for me too, and thus my server goes off of the master server list... lol.

It has to be the right size. SMF fails at resizing pictures with transparency or multiple frames.

EDIT: They just may be flaming him because he decided to join a handicapped clan.

I would like to point out Carl did not start this. Mega Bear made fun of Carl and RUBY, so I really think you guys should lay off...

You know, using UPnP (in this case) is port forwarding too, it just does it automatically for you.

I never had anything against you CC, I am just standing up for Carl, he's a good friend of mine. And you seriously need to stop talking to him like that. This is our clan page and you have come on it to bash out members. Stop now and everything will be fine.

Okay, I talked to iPhone4, who was very, very helpful :) He said I should probably check my router settings to make sure UPnP is enabled. I haven't done it yet because I can't figure out my router password, so I'll have to ask my dad. But I have my fingers crossed :) Also in my console log for dedicated server, it randomly stops initiating tick and posting to master server. At that point my server drops off of the master list. So the problem is clearly that it stops posting.

Sorry for the spelling fail, but I would appreciate some help. Port forwarding does not sound like a good idea to me.

Thanks builda :) but before I do that I want to make sure I can't fix it some other way. I am very tight about security and that has some security risks. I heard after v14 we didn't need to port forward, and my router is very powerful, it should be able to handle hosting a dedicated server without port forwarding.

Thanks, but people have already told me that. I do it and it usually works, but I can't be doing that every few hours. My server still seems to find its way off of the server list a few hours after I do that.

I personally loved carl's city rp, but I was an admin. I am currently trying to host a city rp and I would not consider my building exceptional, my scripting... I can't script, and I can barely even get a dedicated server to work, but I am trying to get one thing right - admins. My server will be a clan server too, also ruby, so I might have a crapload of admins. But carl, I have to agree with some people that have posted here, you need to work on the admins. I tried to be respectful and helpful to players on your city but there were plenty of admins who didn't listen to anyone who had a problem and gave tons of money to their friends so they could all go shoot up the city. As a friend, I am saying you should get rid of the badmins.
