Unfortunately though, for most christians, the bible is like a TOS or license agreement. They just skip past and click "I agree".

I went to Arlington national cemetery today as part of our freshman class trip to D.C.

One of the things we went to was the Eternal flame, which they claim has been burning for about 50 years, constantly. I believe they have another one at Hiroshima.

Anyways...is that even possible? I suppose they could have a supply of fuel underground, but in that case, wouldn't it be a constantly renewing flame, as opposed to the same one? And it's clearly exposed to the rain.

I may be reading too much into it, perhaps it's not meant to be taken literally.

Thoughts?

Yeah, my laptop is shot. So I can't use much more than my ipod, and I hate using forums on the ipod. I'm using my mom's netbook right now.

I hope I'm not disturbing the flow, seeing as there's no subforum for introductions.
I like to think I'm pseudo-intelligent.
I enjoy anime, last one I watched was Madoka Magica.
Don't be surprised if I suddenly disappear after being active for about a week, or not at all. I'm not very good at staying on forums.
