You will also need to tell it not to record audio if you don't need it or else it will compress the sound a whole bunch at the end and waste time.

i found this one program called "camstudio" and it is 100% free. You can use it to record stuff from blockland very well. However, it does capture the mouse in the picture too so you will need to tell it not to capture the mouse in "Cursor Options". For the most part it does a decent job in recording stuff onscreen.
