I would be the happiest man alive today with one change. The people who are freaking out and spamming complaints leave. It could be ban, it could be another city, it could be boredom,  or even a selective power surge. But 99% of this servers problems are people complaining about the other 1% of the servers problems. If you don't like it leave. Besides, if people would stop spam complaining, then a lot more would get done. With all these players gone, it would just be the dedicated ones like me who want to play in peace as the server is.

Im not usually one to dwell on the past or ask for refunds for my own mistake, but last night while no admins where on, me and my friend lost a total of 6,250 because of rogue status for life abusing the push broom glitch. I believe he has been warned before about this, as anyone on the server and they will tell you he abuses it. I once saw him push a player all the way to the end of the other city from the bank.
It all started when i got out $1800 to pardon someone for exp. While i was typing in the gui , rogue came up and used the push broom to kill me via collision My friend, seeing that i had just been killed shot rogue because he figured he was wanted.-$1800 for what i dropped Nope, because of the glitch he was jailed for six ticks. -$3000 for the clear record -$250 for rookie  -$1200 for the jail time (pardon) coming to the grand total of $6,250      that's without what my friend dropped when jailed. Please can i have at least a small reimbursement for the travesty? I would not ask this if it was or actions that caused a consequence, but it was all caused by a glitch. when i asked rogue to give me the money, he did not speak for the rest of the night and left soon after that after making an attempt to jail my friend.
---edit----
Rogue has apologized and does admit to booming people, but never killing them, he sais that he has a friend who gets on people's accounts and he does not remember any of this. CoolKoopaTroopa, skit, and pressme are just some of the many witnesses to this. it is surprising rogue is now so chatty, as he was silent last night. Maybe he is right about the dual accounting...

It's not a case of "stamping out criminals" it's a case of it makes no sense from a logical point of view to receive paychecks directly to your person for 99% of situations and frankly I agree with Kalphiter

How does the money get there, where does it come from, and if we have digital accounts why are we not getting paid to them?

I have a job and i send in an invoice monthly, than proceeding to receive my paycheck in person and run to the bank to deliver it... it is accurate. if this was removed, crime would be direly reduced in the city leaving the criminal tree not worth advancing in at all. Along with it would go the police branch with no way to make good money.

IDEA: What if there was command (/buy) for getting your paychecks deposited directly into your bank account instead of to the player? You have to buy convenience. Anybody like this idea?
i thought of this too, but than i realized that would trash not only pick-poketers but make criminals not want to go on sprees because they would get nothing in return. And thus the idea of a wallet was born. You get the paycheck in cash so it can still be stolen and dropped keeping criminals afloat while keeping players happy with a comfortable amount of pocket money for carrying around.

A few more low priority suggestions:
:cookie: Chainsaw acting as a lumberjack axe (skill4life's idea)  I have ran into the issue of other jobs besides laborers not being able to gather lumber to build with, and the laborer does not have the income to reasonably keep a build leaving players like me to have to buy lumber or buy an axe from other players every time one dies. hopefully this change could help with that.
:cookie: An item, wallet like the cellphone and light which makes it more difficult to be stolen from and possibly could save a small amount of money from dropping when you die. This could help balance pick poketers and stop people from whining about lost money a little.
:cookie: Possibly make it so Purchasing food will recharge health so that dieing is not the only way to get back to full hp. Plus, this would make more people buy food instead of just starving to death to save money.

Obviously there is a lot more stuff that is way more important that needs to be done to the server before any of this happens... but for a future update please consider these. Oh and yes, i do feel like a pro for using cookies as bullet points ;)

I think I just figured out how to make the pickpocketers get more demerits for picking. I'll open the server with a pass to test it before I open it to the public. I don't want to make any major changes because I'm afraid that I will mess something up.
awesome. at this rate by the next week this server will be better than even melon king and nooblet's old cities. good times...

True, and people were especially ranting on this on the server itself. People kept telling Wink to change this and change that.
exactly, wink already has his hands full with hosting for these maniacs. they just need to learn to come here to post suggestions. i think wink is doing a spectacular job with hosting all this. most admins would have gone crazy already and he is still keeping his cool.

If you don't complain about this stuff, nothing gets done.

no need to spam up the game chat though.

Something needs to be done about the people who always ask "how do you make money?".......Either they're joking or don't know anything about the job industry.
i would just mute them all... if they say that than you know they din't read the sign telling them to /help. /help will take them to /help jobs where it tells them everything they need to know to make money.
