Modification Help / Jeep disobeying my orders

I'm trying to edit the default addon Jeep to make it go faster for a friend.  Unfortunately whatever code I change, doesn't get loaded into BL it takes the same code anyway.  To prove that my edits never even get into BL I changed "paintable = true" to "paintable = false", saved it and ran BL.  My Jeep was still paintable. Any help is greatly appreciated.
Also, I program in Python and a bit of C# so Torque only references really don't help.

Dont hate on DrenDran, if you dont like his server, then leave, its his server and he will impose whatever rules he wants on you.  You people feel like its your birthright to have everything brought to you on a golden platter.
