I don't think he was talking to you, and I'm sure plenty of people know what he was talking about. If you are going to be skeptical about terminology and sentence construction, go find a forum that tolerates it.

EDIT: Snapped on an axis? Having what, a cube's face aligned? is that what you mean? Then yes.
