Woah I've been gone for a bit. Lets just say that the knife that Lancelot threw hit me in the arm, I fell out of the tree and broke my leg.

On topic : A knife flew out from the heavily shaded forest floor, striking my arm. I react too fast, making me fall out of the tree. A large snap comes from somewhere below my torso, guessing from the way I landed. It was most likely my leg. Hoping no one knows where I am, I lay there.

"Pretty much." I respond. Then I show him the knife I have.
A thought that has bugged me all morning comes to mind, "Have you seen any careers yet?" I ask.
I place my knife back in the smooth leather sheath.

After scouting through my pack, I put everything back in, zip it up and look around.
Not many trees that I could climb, no sources of water, and a low chance of sponsors sending me something. What a spot I took.
I decide to make a new path through the environment, careful not to snap or bend twigs in case someone is following me.
Finding a tree, finally, where I can climb up the side and rest in the high limbs, I begin to scale the large tree.
I sort through my priorities, making an alliance with others may result in my death. And going back to the cornucopia for shelter or supplies would also lead to my death. Since the cornucopia will be guarded by now. Nothing good.

I run for the cornucopia and seize a medium sized bag. Not daring to grab anything else, I take off for the trees,
as soon as I find a decent resting area, I sit down and look at the contents of my bag. A hunk of beef, an empty canteen and a knife. A jack pot in my case.
