What if the thing we see and assume is the moon, is really a person. the camera is a first person view...what if the camera is a first person view of a Chernobyl worker trying to escape during the incident and the "moon" is really a person looking for survivors...that would explain the "what is this" and "who are you"... maybe the worker got his daughter and tried to escape through the tunnels but was stopped by, our mystery man. somehow the two people must have been killed or separated from the child leaving her alone. maybe after losing the other people the child tried to escape by fleeing into the wood only later to be killed my the radiation. - TechnoWafflez

i just noticed something
look at the right, that's not the moon
if you can see good, you can obviously notice that you can see a darker shade of red on the right side

The "moon" is actually a person looking down and the person looking up is saying whats in black letters to the right of the ladder.
