That might be my anti-virus. Bullguard doesn't take any unregistered programs light, autonomous piece of stuff. I'll get a new one in less than a month. But I actually doubt that, since it has not interfered with Blockland before.
As for the results from auth.blockland.us and master2.blockland.us, the first just says the name of the site, and master gives me a list of the active servers. It happened on both my laptop and desktop. I will attach the exact result in a separate file.
Additional info: My laptop is running Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit and my desktop runs Windows Vista Home Premium 64-bit.

It automatically selects a random port to use, from what I have observed, which is why I didn't mention forwarding, which I have also tried.

Help / Blockland authentication problem: "Validating Key..." Forever.
« on: June 17, 2012, 11:40:04 AM »
Hello,
Recently, last 3 months I think, my Blockland has stopped working. It seems there is a connection problem between my laptop (17.x" Asus G73Sw) and the master server. Whenever I log on to Blockland, at the bottom, where my name should be present, it just says "Authentication: Validating Key...". It just stays like that, and it only changes to "Offline Mode" if I enter a singleplayer game. When I log on from my desktop, on the same network (LAN/WiFi) connection, it works. It can also fetch the server list, but not connect to any servers, without any specified reason.
I have tried:
  • Restarting Blockland
  • Doing a clean reinstall (Everything removed, then reinstall)
  • Restarting my PC
  • Restarting router/internet connection
  • Shutting down Firewall (also Anti-Virus, Bullguard, firewall) and starting the game
  • Reentering my key
I have attached my launcher and console log, crossing my fingers that you can spot the problem there.
