I once had a dream where a demonic creature of some sort tried to kill me.
It was the middle of the night. I was holding a sleepover in my house, except I don't really recognize where I was sleeping. Anyways, I couldn't sleep, so I went to my basement (which looked completely normal) to get my laptop. After I unplugged it, right behind where the screen was a demonic creature perched. It screeched at me and lunged at me. I started running towards my telephone in what felt like slow motion. As I finally reached the phone, I noticed the phone line was cut. I was so horrified at that point that I woke up.
