It isn't.
The original files are not.

Now in the end we are talking about just an avatar and he is just doing it to mess with him, but I just wanted to finish this discussion actually. We're obviously not going to get the kid in trouble because why would we. It's an internet forum. That's like punching a toddler in a McDonalds playground.

TD has a point, however, to place a copywrite over an avatar that can simply be downloaded and set as your own is stupid. This was bound to happen.

Our characters are copyrighted. They have names and have money paid for them. The Characters belong to us. Alex is mine and Vinny is (obviously) owner by Vinny.
Legal issues could be inflicted in here. It's the same as selling someones art on a T-shirt on RB without getting permission from the artist, it's not legal.
