I've reinstalled the game and all is working as it should. The Portal Gun is outdated as suspected by Wedge. How do I remove the current version? Do I simply overwrite?

I'm running the following:

Weapons:

-Chainsaw
-Minigun
-Flamethrower
-Grenade
-Portal Gun

Vehicles:

-Biplane
-Stunt Plane

Mods:
-Zombie Mod

How do I rectify these problems specifically?

I believe I have somehow caused a confliction having overwritten the aforementioned. The addons that extracted without prompting me to overwrite function flawlessly.

I'm having a number of issues with a multitude of addons despite having installed them correctly to my knowledge.

Examples of the issues are as follows:

-I'd use a grenade but it doesn't explode; sound effects are absent also.

-I'd use the portal gun, but the model is like that of the hookshot. The portals created are nothing but coloured blocks.

-I am able to use the minigun; except there is no sound upon firing.

All of the above and more have been installed as advised; namely by extracting the files to the addons folder.

Any help would be much appreciated.

General Discussion / Unjust Bans?

I'm becoming quite frustrated by those who insist on banning from servers for the most trivial of reasons.

I recall one instance where I was building quietly amongst a number of others when an administrator teleported me back and forth for his own amusement. I pleaded to the super administrator in a polite fashion, which promptly resulted in a ban for complaining.

People show little regard for those who simply wish to build amongst others in peace. Quite frankly i'm sick of it. Now I simply resort to hosting my own.
