Describe your home network configuration.  What things do you have and what's plugged into what?
well im not sure what you mean but ill try...
my internet provider is HughesNet(i have the pro plus package)
I have a Netgear rangmax duo wireless N router WNDR3300
i have a Dell XPS M1330 with vista.

The satilite runs to the hughesnet box(receiver i guess) and from the box(receiver) it goes to the router and then i connect to the internet from my laptop to the netgear router

if i left something out that you need to know or this is not what you was talkin abut just tell me and give me an (example)

That error means the server is 'dead' or that your internet/isb doesnt like blockland. For example, if I try to join some servers it will give me the same message, all I do to fix it, is restart blockland.

Well i have tried to go to"9999999999" different servers and they all say "server has droped the connection: authentication failed" or  something like "join server timeout"
And i have also tried to restart blockland and that dont work either and i have also tried to reinstall blockland and that dont work.
Also i have not gave anyone my key(right after i got my key and put it in and tried to connect and it gave me the same messages) =( this kinda makes me mad cuz i have paid 40$ and i cant get on the internet so please someone help me figure out whats wrong =)

here are my internet stats:
download speed: 1575 kb/s
upload speed: 260 kb/s
ping: 854 ms

Thanks,
Foster

Help / Authenticaton Failed???
« on: April 14, 2008, 06:25:04 PM »
Hi there I am new to the forums and I have a question about the blockland internet part.
When I try to connect to a game on the internet I get a "Authentication Failed".
I have contacted support and they told me to:
"make sure that windows firewall and any other security software you have installed is set to allow Blockland to connect to the internet and access the hard disk.  Other than that, you can make sure you're entering the key correctly by copy and pasting directly from the email"
I have did this and blockland still wont let me get on the internet part.
----
I am running Windows Vista.
I have disabled all my security settings.
I have blockland version8.
I have bought "2" blockland activation keys and they both dont work for the internet part.
and my internet is running just fine (or else i wouldn't be typing this message)
----
Here is a screen shot:

Thanks for your time and I hope you can help me out=D
