hm, good idea but i think you're thinking of a different forum, this forum is too dead for community made extensions.
and there comes the risk with installing an extension from some random guy who uses the same website as you so idk
it was definitely this forum

wasn't there a browser extension or something weird to add things to the forums
thought somebody made a block feature or similar
probably possible to implement a database lookup and display it below the avatar, just it'd only be seen by people with the extension

finally managed to get a friend to family share it to me, was curious how differently it looked with/without raytracing and in comparison with things like GTA V
turns out it's pretty good on the graphics

also turns out that you can jump out of some of the pens they put you in to railroad you in quests
was just doing random stuff without being able to fight back, had to kill stuff by ramming with my car
is a great time

Modification Help / Re: how the forget do you make a /hub thing

you would remove the client from the current minigame they're in, and add them to the other one
should probably start by figuring out how to get the list of minigames, how to get the client's current minigame, how to add/remove from minigames, and how to create a / command

6
either way, should be possible to change the player's datablock when they enter cars, and put it back when they leave
people exploiting third person hopefully isn't the majority and wouldn't affect it too much

is there a case where the driver's datablock matters? if they were a horse or something and turned into a blockhead to drive it might be a bit weird
was thinking you could just use a normal no-jet first person only datablock as drivers/passengers

7
strange, didn't think you'd get to mess with the third person camera with the console
thought you'd need a dll or something at least

8
so even on first person playertypes they can use third person
can they change the angle of the third person camera too?
or can it just be set to an unusable angle for if people do manage to get to third person

if the client is able to get to third person and set the location, that sounds like something badspot would want to fix

Games / Re: Total War: Troy Free 8/13

seems like it would be a good way to try total war games though
if you got it while it was free
otherwise would stick with warhammer 2 instead of troy

Troy is free to keep for the day of launch (today, 8/13)
seems like a decently ok game compared to Total War: Warhammer 1 and 2
but free is a great way to start playing total war games

Help / Re: Resolution
« on: July 20, 2020, 02:40:58 AM »
sounds like you asked the issue on the BCC discord too, and issue was being in windowed mode, in case somebody else stumbles across this topic
fullscreen windowed or fullscreen should support native resolution (1600x900), windowed mode shouldn't due to not having enough space for the borders and so on that come with being windowed

it was corona
surprisingly, i don't think anything would've changed without the virus being around

Wait, Adam's last name is savage?
yeah, he moved on from myth busting to doing a lot of wood working and similar on tested
also got one of the boston dynamics spot dogs to mess with
