iirc brickadia has color palette support tho so anything missing can be supplanted by ingame colorset editing? would make up for the lack of diversity in the base colorset

I have a mac but i installed Catalina. FML, i can't run 32 bit apps anymore, Maybe badspot can fix this?
given what i understand about software converting 32bit software to 64bit isnt trivial but it isn't particularly difficult either with the right tools and knowledge. depending on sales badspot may have no incentive to work on this as providing forward compatibility may not generate any actual income.

one legitimate reason is code testing, but yes largely alts are used for ban evasion, hiding identity, or playing after being revoked

you're telling me that you've just had an account name "Trogtor " for the past 2 years
no hes making a side note about how impersonation is stuff and thats why locked names is not a terrible idea to have. trog is memeing - a look at his post history makes it obvious if you weren't aware by his tone in his posts.

that said, maybe if you could change names via paying some nominal fee, badspot could make money off of name change restrictions

Yes, as an employeer let me google BandGang Kidalex, and notice he posted on a lego game forum and dislikes the gays, a yes.
youd be surprised what internet detectives can look up. id imagine a background check could include that - afaik most employers filling jobs better than retail or similar do background checks once they're interested in a candidate.

also they'd likely look up kidalex, not specifically bandgang kidalex. or if they somehow locate this specific account first, it wouldnt be that hard to figure out his past names all included kidalex

Was setting bl_id on the client removed on purpose? I think most people used getBLID() but it might break some add-ons.
yeah a lot of mods rely on client.bl_id for individual user perms - i know that i have used it in the majority of my mods

im still around to fix mine (if you're unwilling to revert the change), but i can't see that happening for addons of long gone users

also are we allowed to request multiple email verification links cause i dont have access to the device that has the login to the email right now

tbh feel like the (mis) error would be fixed with the datablock loading fix (assuming no network buffers are allowed to overflow) but that itself might introduce some other bugs
