i dont know what grades are, but im assuming they are the same as years

most of the questions are just different. we are tested on different things nowadays because technology has grown and needs have changed.

Ya I was just assuming he wanted to know what the basics he needs for building a computer were.

if you go onto the previous page you'll understand

6
you guys are really helpful, thanks

just asking if you could compile a list of what i'll need to buy because right now i dont exactly understand

7
Thats a old socket you need a new mobo I think.

a new motherboard?

ok. so to upgrade that, will it be another hundred or something?

8
This is nowhere near enough information to recommend any sort of processor. There are different sockets, makers, etc. I think the easiest way to determine this would be going to your system info and giving us the current processor name.
intel core 2 quad core cpu q6600

Also, if you would be willing to upgrade your motherboard or not, and if you only have $200 total to spend
i can spend some extra dough to upgrade that, too

im looking for a good cpu

i currently have a (or equivilant to a) dualcore, and its really weighing me down when i play games. i want to know if you guys could see if you could spy a good cpu, for about $200 cheese.

i know nothing about parts, so if you could give me some advice also that would be splendid

Well she knows this kid has been saying this crap and doing this stuff to people.
She doesn't give a crap.

you say that, but that could not be true.

who knows. the point is maybe you should try and take this into your own hands.

Off Topic / Re: What Do You Think About Homeschoolers?
« on: December 18, 2013, 03:46:46 PM »
your not really given the whole mile in terms of education, because although your parents may know the core stuff, your not getting extension. you cant beat being taught by a professional. also, your self-esteem and confidence could be lowered, and conversing with girls may be harder (depending on your age).

homeschoolers are fine, though. they are no less of human beings and it doesnt count for stuff.

Less JPEG
Imgur doesn't really ruin images as much as people think, it's when you save a JPG, Imgur's compression makes it worse, but you upload a PNG without transparency, it keeps most of it's quality, uploading a PNG with transparency seems like it keeps it's quality completely

im sorry what

did it lose quality or something

it looks exactly the same as OP's, completely fine
