Good work. Had a look through your files.

Your repository needs some garden cleaning.

Delete the "Debug" and "Release" directories. I'm not sure how you got them passed your .gitignore
The include directories are full paths in your visual studio project files. Should be relative if at all possible.
The source code doesn't follow solid principles.

bitch that's noomi rapace
Spot on, it is. It's from a scene in Prometheus.

Another drawing. Indian stick insect. Front two legs are lifted up.

looks great, all of them
Thank you! It's a bit of an artist stereotype I know but I struggle to keep finish my drawings, I re-render the same thing over and over.

I end up spraying fixative and calling it a day when I'm stagnating

I have a lot of drawings collecting dust. Posted in roughly the order I made them.

Never finished stuff

Does anyone here on this forum program for a living?

I mean it's not a terribly complex thing. You're just multiplying numbers and adding them together.
Cool can I see? Is it on Github?

I'm using neural networks right now with my Java project. Lots of fun but very stressful on the hardware and on my patience haha. Thank goodness for CUDA otherwise it would take me a month (per epoch) to train my neural network (seq2seq lstm with a very large bidi-map).

Sdl for events handeling, old opengl for graphics, liquidfun/box2d for physics.
Huh, you wrote your own neural networks library? I thought you said that but I had to be sure.

What library did you use?

oh, i love the rendering on these sketches! do you have any other work?
Sadly I stopped drawing in that style ages ago. This is the last one from 2014 that is similar. I didn't plan the composition, perspective or execute any formal design.

2016 and onwards I've started to apply a bit of control before drawing so that I don't end up abandoning the work.

Actually quite well! I've updated the OP with a new picture and a few more opcodes.
I'll post a video this evening that shows the machine running a few basic programs I've made for it.
Could you describe your computer with a finite state automaton? I think in America they call it a finite state machine.

I'd love to see a single instruction like a move or add decoded into opcodes using of them.

Honestly I wanted to go into college for a computer science degree but 17 year old me thought it would be too over-saturated. Sort of kicking myself now because I ended up changing majors half way through college to a stem field and now I'm gonna have to attend an extra year and only come out with a BA.

The attrition/dropout rate is shockingly high for my university. My year had a lot of people who studied computer science to make big amounts of money and their grades suffered as a result. I heard it's the same for other establishments (at least in my country anyway).

I'm surprised you're not studying computer science. At my university, they taught us how to build a CPU from first principles in the second year so I'd imagine you would probably find the first year very easy going.

A few more drawings from 2013 I think. I thought I lost the sketchbook that had the first two. These drawings make me cringe a bit, the skull/tentacle creature especially.
