I open blockland on steam and it keeps saying Steam Offline Mode, it won't let me retry either because I press it nd nothing happens. athe console also says ID not found.

Every time I try to enable shaders it says in the console

You can setup your Ipad to receive 3G and send out Wifi so your laptop can connect via it.

I just figured out why i couldn't connect.
I have Hotspot Shield on my Mac so it anonymizes my IP and stuff, I just disabled it and now BL works fine
I feel kinda stupid now.

Forgot to post a link to the portable version:


If you prefer to run Blockland as a portable app (where all files are saved in the game folder), use this.

This is useful if you want to:
-Copy your Blockland folder around a lot
-Run Blockland from a flash drive
-Have unicode characters in your windows username
Blockland Portable App (Windows)
Just extract the zip file somewhere like C:\BlocklandPortable and double click "RunMe.bat" to launch the game.

The RunMe file takes about 10 minutes to load vs using the launcher on USB.

Actually now that I look at it, yeah.  It's flipping back and forth rapidly.  I'm going to flag this account as steam only to lock out the other person.  You'll have to run the game through steam.

Thanks Badspot, does it say that I'm using the anonymous service or the other person? 'Cause I use a VPN sometimes so I don't know if that's the cause

You have to delete the key.dat from this computer in Documents/Blockland/key.dat

It worked on my laptop but not on my Mac

Help / Running Blockland as a portable app.

I'm trying to run Blockland off of a USB, it works fine but my add ons and stuff don't load into it. Do I have to download  the game to the C drive and copy it to the folders?
