the second one is a tad blurry but the colors look really nice
Thanks! The original photo doesn't look quite as blurry, but I did a lot of editing and touch-up work to make the colors pop. I was using a tripod for both of these.

i myself almost bought a boston green '98 328i convertible w/ hardtop
That sounds amazing.

I spent all evening yesterday in my father's '94 318Ci just cruising alone and taking some pictures. The 5-speed manual shifts like butter when you want it to and aggressively at higher RPM's. It's not fast, but handles incredibly around corners compared to the handful of boring, purposeful cars that my family owns. The Boston Green paint looks nice, except where the clear coat is peeling on the trunk lid. The handbrake barely works. The manual top is falling apart. It leaks and flaps in the wind in several places, but still serves its purpose after about a dozen safety pins. The previous owner's son blew up the clutch trying to do a burnout. In doing so he also damaged the original transmission enough to put first gear out of commission. My dad and I swapped a used one in almost a year ago that doesn't seem to have any issues. The only rust spot is on the hood, maybe about the size of a quarter (edited out in the pictures). Pretty sure the car was sold and spent most of its life in Texas. It's loud, partly due to what I believe is a small exhaust leak, but it makes it more exciting when you put your foot down. I hadn't driven a car where I grinned going under every overpass. People stare when you start it or wind the revs up. Despite its flaws I still really like it and it's the most fun car I have driven.
I was glad to have the top down when a Maserati Ghibli exited the interstate onto the highway right next to me. I almost died later hearing it pop and burble when the guy was downshifting in a turn lane.

Perhaps my car spot of the year. I parked by this Nissan Skyline (R32) GT-R this morning. We left the parking lot at the same time and it sounded really awesome. We got on the interstate together and he disappeared quickly.

There's a guy that lives near me with a nice one. Every time I see it on the road I speed up to him so I can admire it.

Wow, that's hot. I would prefer the manual but I really wouldn't complain in an E30. It's funny how often the odometers are broken in these.

I suppose I shall post some of my beginner car photography...

BMW 2002 (sadly rusting in a storage lot. The interior smells like urine.)

BMW M2

BMW E46 M3 (manual!)

Nissan GT-R R35

Alfa Romeo GT Junior (not 100% sure on the model)

Ford GT in Gulf Livery (one of the loveiest machines I have ever seen)

1990's Ferrari (I don't remember the model)

Just tossing this carbon fiber galore Elise in here

Gotta love those classy Jaguar wire wheels

Mercedes SLR McLaren

That Miata tho

3 NSX's and a Viper GTS

Jaguar XKR-S GT (1 of 30 built)

Lamborghini Gallardo LP 570-4

Lotus Exige V6 Cup (1 of 9 in the US)

IMO some of these look better cropped in certain areas. I have a few more shots of some of these cars (not photography-based, just whole-car shots) if you want to see any more. These are just the decent detail images I have.
