Event_onBrickLoaded makes it easier setting zones with the 'setZone' output upon reloading. of course when you aren't loading bricks and you use the event, it won't set any zone

here's Script_Auto-Jet (topic). it has three keybinds but you only really need to use the toggle keybind.

however, when I'm on my own server I like to use Script_Noclip (topic) or AirSwimmer (use the script and the client). Orb ghost bricks is another option too. oh, and Script_Autobridge (light key toggles bridge).

EventsGuiPlus works for having your events in order but when it comes to saving, I can't load because event number zero has a delay of 0ms. That's apparently invalid.
oh yeah, I forgot to mention that you can order your events with Blockland Essentials too

System_BlocklandEssentials (topic) has an event saving feature and some other cool things. there's also Client_EventFavorites (topic), Client_EventsGuiPlus (topic - this is a popular one I think), and Client_NewEvents (topic). I've only used Blockland Essentials for event saving, so I don't know how well the others work and whether they have any compatibility issues with other add-ons

noedit: I just realized that you mentioned a teleport to a VIP area, not a door. DoorCheck is still good for checking more than one BL_ID

Event_MinigameSpawn might work better than onPlayerTouch: [30000] MinigameSpawn > Player > setplayertransform. I don't know exactly how MinigameSpawn works but you could try it out. The event only needs to be placed in one brick.

Event_DoorCheck would be useful for the VIP area.

I often build the same house over and over again on servers I visit. A while ago I decided to become slightly more creative by making the same house in a larger scale. Although I originally featured my build in a previous topic of mine, some sizeable changes and additions were made which I cannot include in the old topic.

Scaled Houses
Below are original pictures of the 4x scale version of my house. The type and amount of bricks I used to build it made it spammy and the roof appeared to be too tall and clunky to match the smaller version.

 



Over half a year later I decided to reduce the brick count of the 4x scale version and redo its roof. I thought that it would be neat to make a 2x and 3x scale version of the smaller house as well so that the houses would fit inside each other like Russian nesting dolls. I discovered that replicating the details of the door and windows on those scales was painstakingly difficult. Instead I made an 8x scale version to accompany the 1x and 4x scale houses.

In order from smallest to largest are the houses shown for comparison of the details:

I'm really proud of my scaled houses even though they aren't the most creative things I've made. The 8x scale house is more accurately considered a 2x scale of the 4x scale version since I literally doubled all of the dimensions of the 4x scale house to make the 8x scale one. The roofs on the larger houses are not entirely accurate in dimension to the original 25 degree ramp bricks on the small house. I could not find a workaround to make the large-scale ramps both dimensionally accurate and visually similar when placed on top of each other. I'll probably end up making even larger scale houses when I'm bored and lacking creativity.

Other than Hairspray Queen's giant blockheads, what other builds were designed to be differently scaled versions of an original build or object?

I befriended Talos some time ago unaware at first that he was like this. we played Blockland together fairly often while we were Steam friends, which lasted for at least a month. the first time we went to play on my server I noticed that I had perma-banned his BL_ID. I connected the dots and realized that Talos had been on my server before under a different name (Luxem) causing problems and being rude. I never told Talos of my realization because at the time he was very friendly and I didn't believe that it would be right to unfriend him when it seemed as if he had changed. other than the time that I had perma-banned "Luxem" from my server a long time ago, Talos never acted up in front of me. later he unexpectedly removed me as a friend on Steam and made his profile private, though I assumed that was for reasons unrelated to Blockland.

since then I haven't heard anything more of him with the exception of dramas like these. having exchanged a lot of personal information with Talos, it saddens me that he returns to this kind of behavior. he seems to be really troubled deep inside. I sympathize for him, yet at the same time I can't justify what he does over and over again

I noticed that there is a button to return to the add-on boards after visiting a specific board, yet there is no "back" button on add-on pages. I have to go back to the boards every time I want to see a different add-on, which makes browsing the mod manager difficult.

it would also be nice if there was an option for the Esc key to close overlay windows rather than exit the overlay entirely. if that was an option then it would be necessary that the keybind to open the overlay would also close the overlay since the keybind only opens the overlay as of now.

plus, it's a little weird that I have to make chatroom tabs into different windows in order to leave them one-by-one since there is no "X" button on each tab, only the window. by this I mean if I had joined "Help" and "General Discussion" and wanted to leave "Help," I'd have to make "Help" a different window to leave that room individually.


as for the friends window I noticed that friends' names don't always show up after adding them. disconnecting from Glass Live, joining/leaving a server, and restarting Blockland doesn't seem to fix this.

I can also send a friend request to already existing friends using both methods of sending a friend request. accepting a friend request from an existing friend the first time will give me a pop-up saying that the friend request was accepted. the friend request doesn't disappear though and accepting it a second time will produce another pop-up that tells me I don't have a friend request from said person. denying the request instead will just say that it was ignored each time I deny it. the friend request will disappear if I reconnect to Glass Live.

chat between friends is not working for me. I can still type and send messages, yet the person who I am sending messages to does not receive anything. the same is vice versa

callback, BLG heartbeat, Glass auth success, and

are the only things that showed up in my console.log when I found these issues

nvm I didn't think setbottype existed until I checked the "Self" target.
unSpawnHoleBot would be useful though if you have bots of different types
