This is (kind of) what rrtyui does, he replaces the in-game backgrounds with his own grey background. Here's an example from one of his most famous, and one of the most well known plays of osu!.

I think his (ultimamax) problem is just that he doesn't want anime girls on his screen, lewd or not, and I get that. Songs with lewd backgrounds go against the rules of beatmap submission, and can't be uploaded anyway.
(With background dim to 100%, you can still see song thumbnails and their pictures in downtime during the song)
There's a way to disable that somewhere in one of the files of the game, but I can't find the Reddit article about it.

Here's what you could do to fix that, in order of effort;
1. Turn your background dim to 100% (In the options menu)
2. Turn off combobursts (Also in the options menu)
3. Download a different skin (Plenty can be found here)
4. Manually edit your skin's files out-of-game (File path: user > AppData > Local > osu! > Skins > name of skin)

Alright, to clear things up here, let me tell you what was up the day I made the scrapbook and this thread:
I was on Meta's speedkart server, just playing casually, until Deadfall joined the server, I wanted to be noticed, so I quickly changed my name to something that made me look like a girly weeaboo. I made a big deal about Deadfall, and started calling him Deadfall-Sama. I took screenshots when he said things about me, and when I told him what I had been doing, and that I would make a scrapbook, he asked me to post this thread. So I left the server, made the Google Slides Presentation, and messaged him on Steam under the name I was using for Blockland. Later, I got a message on my profile, with him saying "Get out of here stalker".
To summarize without every little detail, I decided it would be fun to pull a prank on a small YouTuber. I meant absolutely no harm doing this, it was purely for fun.
By the way, I'm not a girl. This name is one of many that I use for Online Roleplay.
