It's weird how posting about people who've been inactive for a long time can suddenly bring them back, case in point; Freeze and Wynd_Fox

And i'm fairly certain this isn't the first time that's happened, so is the BLF magic, or are these people just always lurking and notice, or are told that people are talking about them?
I, for one, was summoned. Dunno about Freeze.

if I found out I was dating a guy, I would be massively uncomfortable
But...why? And when you say a guy, are you being sensible garbage? Or are you saying if your "girlfriend" was actually a trans guy?

Hmm...either way, you're probably being sensible garbage.

Oh, oops.

The difference between panloveuality and biloveuality is that panloveuals may feel attracted towards interlove and androgynous people (or other nonbinary folks), whereas biloveuals will generally prefer people within the gender binary. This doesn't mean that they're prejudiced towards them, of course, they just aren't attracted to them.

of course the foxes explained it better than i did but hey

(yard sard is the second greatest meme)
A lot of biloveual, nonbinary people use biloveual to me attraction to two or more genders, though. So perhaps it's more synonymous with polyloveuality.

I was talking about panloveuals
probably should have clarified that
But people are attracted to genders, usually, not genitals. Do you go around looking in people's pants before you decide whether or not you're attracted to them?

most people who claim to be aloveual just have a very low libido or are just being special snowflakey for attention. people who are actually aloveual are not that easy to come by -- given that the human biology is designed with loveual reproduction in mind. if you are actually aloveual that's wonderful, but there is no need to tell absolutely everyone as one's loveuality is not a defining trait of their personality.
But there's also no need not to tell people, and with all the heteronormativity flying around, it can be nice to break people's false assumptions of yourself.

I'm not sure if that is actually possible on any non-heavily moderated forums. The exceptions being those dedicated to these sort of discussions.
I think it could easily be possible. I'm not sure why some people have such trouble with it.

The OCD one seems like people who like to see things in order, like this

Liking that doesn't mean you are ocd, it just means you enjoy seeing things in order. OCD is a hell of a lot more than that, and as someone said earlier in this thread, it isn't something you want to say you have. Actual OCD isn't something pleasant.

So, OCD is usually an example of people who self diagnose. Most people who claim to have it dont actually have it.
I'd like to make the distinction between deciding one has it and self-diagnosing. To decide one has it, one must merely decide one has it. To self-diagnose, one must talk to people who have the issue, do many, many hours of research on the issue, consider whether one's thoughts and experiences actually indicate it or if they merely like the idea, and things like that. Unfortunately, people who just decide that they have an issue, especially OCD, tend to call it self-diagnosis, which makes it a lot harder.

how did you come to that conclusion? im not the one throwing words like "ableist" around
The caps lock, and I thought you were offended by self-diagnoses. I'm not great at telling how people feel, though. Y'know, what with the autism.

wait what the forget

didn't you leave the forums too

why is everyone that left suddenly coming back
I post whenever someone links me to it.

Frankie, look up "ad hominem argumentum." The fact that the WBC's argument makes no sense is what matters, not the source.

I have a minor OCD. Like I'll fix someones collar and cringe if someone took a huge bite out of hubba-bubba.
My understanding is that there is no such thing as minor OCD. It's considered one of the most absolutely debilitating mental disorders.
