Off Topic / Re: Have we made Badspot sad at his own creation?
« on: August 20, 2020, 06:04:40 PM »
I'm watching a kiwi farms archive video about this place and it got me to come back and check it out. The reality is that anything Badspot would have made would upset him, he's a tortured artist of sorts.

He may not like this place and what it's become but he also hasn't nuked the stuff out of it. Despite its imperfection, the forum is like a massive work of art. A fetid, stuff filled, seething work of art. How could an artist just destroy their own art? It's part of them, it comes from their soul. There are literally thousands of posts on this forum about eregores, tulpas, wizardry, politics, loveual drama, the balance of life and death, deep discussions about everything and anything you could ever imagine. All if this born from a game about virtual lego building blocks augmented by an impressive, unique event based pseudo-programming system. All of that wouldn't have been possible without Badspot injecting his own personality into the forum culture. Had he stepped back and been more corporate in his forum dealings the game could have been like Roblox, it could have made stufftons of money, but it didn't. It stayed his, it stayed a part of him, all because that was the path he chose for it.
In all honesty, I don't think Badspot is saddened by his own creation. I think he's probably secretly proud of it, though I doubt he'd admit it. Who would?  :cookieMonster:

My metabolism is so high that I can literally eat junkfood for months and still have abs. On the other side of that, I can't build very much muscle without my body cannibalizing it, so I either stay at a midpoint or eat my own weight in protein.

what would the internet recommend for becoming more adept at better Anatomical Accuracy

i swear there used to be references for this in the op but i might be thinking of another thread
Google search images of people and look at them, use basic shapes before drawing your whatever. Unless you're really skilled, it's easier to stylize and keep proportions than it is to create something Anatomically perfect.

I recognised it as copypasta, but for the life of me, I can't remember who it was originally about.
I think people have used any number of celebrities for it. I can't find a link on know your meme or anything though.

No way that this is real. Badspot wouldn't do this in public

In October 2001, Badspot met with the families of 9/11 victims. After a brief interview in which he expressed his condolences and hope for closure, he reportedly burst out laughing and made airplane noises and mimicked two planes crashing. He then picked up the child of a deceased victim and whispered into her ear "Your dad's dead, bitch", and proceeded to put on a pair of sunglasses and unleash a barrage of martial arts attack on the small child. She was rushed to the hospital where she was pronounced dead due to extreme trauma.[11] When asked later about the incident, Badspot became visibly loveually aroused and repeated the same attack on the reporter.

Racism is a thing that happens but it's not going to go away no matter how hard you try. No matter what your principles or beliefs you still judge people on appearance, that's human nature. If you see a person of a different race you immediately group them with people of their race. Similar thing happen to people who people who dress or look a way very different to yourself. If you're having a hissy fit about that stuff, get the forget over it. I can understand if you're in a particularly tough spot, but there are better ways to solve your problems than bitching on the internet.

Even if it got funding it would be dead within weeks of being standalone.
That or only hardcore autists would remain.

Games / Re: Candy Crush Saga will be preloaded with Windows 10

Solitaire (and all the other Windows games) can be removed in the "Windows Features" menu, which is usually done by admins in businesses and schools to make sure employees/students don't slack off (even though they will). There's no such thing as "baked in", aside from stuff like the Kernel and Registry.

I'm fairly certain Microsoft would make sure this software can be removed just as easily.
By baked in i mean it comes with every installation, but that was the wrong word to use. I really don't want to have to remove a stuffload of bloatware, I hope they don't turn this into some sort of "it's free but also a big forgetin billboard" deal.

Walk up, start talking. Be really upfront about your intentions, that you like her etc. Be confident, even if you aren't confident just pretend that you are.

OBS is a fantastic video recorder if you know how to set up the settings correctly.
OBS

X-Split is alright, but OBS is one of the best ones on the market.

These guys got it, OBS is some of the best screen recording software I've used. Lightweight, versitile, and high quality.
