« on: May 21, 2017, 11:40:20 AM »
I bought BL a while back and I was wanting to get back into it and transfer it over to Steam, but I forget my key. What is the process of recovering it?

Cicada 3301, its a  code-breaking secret society, its part of last years puzzle. I looked up the coordinates on google earth, theres some sort of code to be broken by the coordinates they give you, last year when they did it these spots had posters you could scan with a QR reader to get certain data.

Games / Building/Survival/Adventure?
« on: December 05, 2013, 11:20:35 PM »
Hey guys Dorso here, just wondering if anyone knows any guys, sort of like Minecraft or Wurm Online, that are out there? Minecraft is too simplistic, and Wurm Online just takes too much time. I'd like some building freedom, some survival aspect, and just a nice overall RPG sort experience.

EDIT : Farming, fishing, and hunting would be nice also.

Everyone's using unity todays
yes

Its a model I made with a little more level of detail than some of those in AoT, I need to make it more realistic, and give it an interior

what engine
what gameplay
what goals
1) Unity
2) Gameplay isn't really there yet other than walking or jumping
3) Goals are to get comfortable with Unity, gain experience when it comes to my modeling of architecture and its implementation to maps, and my next step is getting walking anmations, idle animations, jumping animations, and getting my weapons I've modeling in there with animations, from there I'll practice with other things such as events an interactions etc.

Experimented with vertex painting on some of the weapon models I posted, now if I can start getting texture painting down I'll actually make a hand wrap for the handle, and I'll give the gold some speckles for the sword, as well as blade imperfections on the axe

Hey guys,

There was a couple tools I'm used to in other programs (Primarily Autocad Inventor) that I haven't found in bleder and was hoping you guys could help me figure it out.

1) Radial Copying : I would use this for creating gears, rims, etc.
Essentially what it does  is is takes a selected segment, and copies its features 'x' amount of times around a center. When I used it in inventor you could select the frequency of things such as gear-teeth or spokes around the circumference of rotation.

2) Chamfering edges : Makes edges rounded
The only way I can think to do this is by extruding the edges on the z-axis is scaling them down in repetition, but Autocad had the option to pick the radius of chamfer and the ability to just click and edge and do it, so you could go back and do it as opposed to having to do it when you get to that point.

3) This isn't really from autocad, I just don't know how to do it, but coloring :
I don't know how people color certain segments of a model in model.

Any advice would be appreacited, thank you.
