Lol looking through at my posts I just realized my first pictures of the BF4 map aren't the same build as the second set. Notice that in the 3rd or 4th picture in the first set the military base is missing in the right corner of the picture :P

also yes i can give you trees, but i dont recommand fob ones, they are ultra spammy and like, super old and common now
also brickcitect made some nice Cohort HQ

I like the build man.

Concerning the walkway, less is more. Right now it's a bit cluttered for no reason. Many special bricks makes it feel ornamented in a way.

When you're finishing that interior, consider having a look at the ceiling and walls. Those are crucial for an attractive interior. Ceilings can have different kind of supports and beams or ventilation. The walls can have support/beams too, and pipes and/or ventilation which makes the build pop. It's often a work with layers.


As you can see you don't need much to make stuff happen.

those trees actually looks like the ones I made way back when I played on BAC's ironically, but they're not mine I think lol

the thing with pines or whatever is that you can't stack the branches like that, it look's too duped. you would need to have more variation in levels and overlap the branches instead of having them on an equal level. Fob had a treepack somewhere that I'll grab for you (actually the treepack he did for BAC's, but the version you have gotta be really old)

edit: I bet syl can lend you trees if you ask nicely. I could make some but I don't have the time.
OK I'm horrible at building trees (one of the many things I need to improve) I'll ask sylv when I get home and if you could find fobs tree pack that would be cool
I finally worked on the build some so here are the new pictures no shaders.









It would be helpfull if you guys could give some advice on the walkway in the last pic

Well, I can tell you that those are some horrendous trees you got there.
Heh those are from when I was on a BAC server a while back I just saved the build and saved a copy of all their plants, would you recommend a way to improve them or a different tree add-on to replace them?

I think the server I remember most and got banned from for using caps in my roleplay to add effect was Zombies in the Bluzone, I was, at that time completely in love with the map and weapons and the idea of the Rp

i dont see how we can accurately critique your build if the pictures are all rendered so beautifully lol
from what i can tell though it looks good.
Very good point I will repost with out the reshade with more angles and what not.

As for the settings I can not remember them off the top of my head but I will look them up when I can I do have one more picture that I can post that is a comparison shot where one side has the reshade effects and the other doesnt although it doesnt show a lot of the build but I does show one of the main parts of it.

Is there a way to load a save using the GUI I see that there is a loadsavefile option but when I selected a save and started the server, nothing had been loaded.

I can't find RBM in my reshade file. Is it something I have to add in my reshade or another addon all together

What graphic enhancers are you using, also are you using reshade to get the brick reflection, and if so what settings do you use to get that?

What's important is that you can open the save gui and upload a build / download interesting ones with a few button clicks.
Having to tab out of the game and use a separate website is a complete no-go.
I know that is possible to make a gui and be able to download files to the game, but is it possible to upload file to the said archive from in-game, because with the old RTB you were able to browse add-ons and download them but as far as I know you couldn't upload a new add-on to RTB through blockland, you had to upload the add-on to the RTB site?

If that is the case then we would have to make a code or script that would allow players to upload their save files or something of the sort.

Edit: After just looking at the blockland glass site, I found this which seems pretty cool. If players uploaded their save people would be able to explore the build, but my concern with this current preview feature is what happens when some of the builds uploaded get into the high brickcount range of like 100000ish or something like that?

I am applying for builder and actor
I think I am good for building because I have worked on several large projects including several of Furdle's unfinished projects like castle crusade and his new blockland battlefront map. I am also really good at listening and can follow directions well
Examples: I think my work in Block wars would be good enough to serve as my example if not I can get pics of other things I've built, but I haven't really been in any BL videos per-say.
BLC Forums Name: I don't have a forum account but it probably will be Clone534 when I do make one.

Those stats are only about Glass 2.0, which is in a very limited early beta. Those two users are me and my alt.
Ok thanks for that info.

So from what im understanding the builds section of BLG is basically done. If that is the case then maybe we can form a list of people who would like to have their builds uploaded/ saved to the archive. I unfortunately am not literate in any form of coding except for some very basic javascript so I wouldn't be able to help contribute to the coding part of things. But I could help find people/ builds to upload to the builds section or I could moderate things either way.

I also came up with a very bad Blockland Save Archive logo that I made, I uploaded a pic of that here And also here is the google doc which I made it in which is why it is so crappy compared to some others made out there.
