Off Topic / Solid State (Album) by Jonathan Coulton
« on: September 12, 2017, 08:46:36 PM »

Jonathan Coulton, the artist behind such songs as Still Alive, released a new album earlier this year: Solid State. I wanted to share this album with the community. As stated on his website:
Quote from: Solid State Website
Why yes, it IS a concept album about the internet, trolls, artificial intelligence, and how love and empathy will save humanity!

I'm alive. (MegaScience) I've just been busy with a game we all messed with around 2006-2007. I'm quite the hated individual, as you'd expect! (Oh and I was MasterCE among other names back when I was indecisive.)

This isn't saying anything different from the original notice. In fact, it feels like it's being stealthily demeaning. "Stop whining, MSPaint will still be on the Windows Store. If you're crazy you can download that, but use our new program with a few of the same features." One would hope this means it won't suddenly stop working or vanish, but there's no assurance of that there.

It's hard to believe that's what we all look like on the inside.

Can I still get the demo Pokemon after the game's release, or was it only for prior?

Meowth would have created something so crude. Jigglypuff's drawings are quite crude.

wimpod looks so sad... :(

More concerned. :P

I swear Kiteruguma is creepbear's cousin. Although its behavior also reminds me of this.

Actually, the very first mention of "Season Too" was "WATCH ON SEESO!" Enraged everyone. While we can understand if they need the revenue to live, it came off very underhanded. It felt like they didn't trust their fans to understand this, so they waited until the Seeso deal was finalized to tell everyone "You have to go here to watch it!" Then you see them make millions on a card-version of their RCG page... Their fans like their work. They'd pay for it. They didn't need to hide "We need to make money off this series if we want to keep it going."

Happy Birthday! Celebrate by playing simulation videogames that best match your current mood. :)

Happy 24th, VH

You should go celebrate at Chuck E. Cheese
