Hmm interesting, you also gotta remember that unlike Gmod and TF2, etc, advertising isn't really a thing in the blockland community at all - you go onto a tf2 server and there's always an ad that plays at the start, you go onto a csgo trade server and there's a massive banner in the middle of the map advertising a gambling site, i suppose in those circumstances giving less donation advantages is possible - don't forget it costs money to run a server.

Tbh I wasn't playing BL for the last 2-4 years and I don't really remember Tezuni's servers so i can't speak much on the matter but i guess i'm offering some sort of explanation?

Why is this a thing? Genuinely not an insult but i'm curious to why it's worth re-making blockland when blockland is still alive and well.

My guess is lack of updates and bad physics?

heya

been on bl since 2009, forum since 2010. Used to check on here and get on the forums literally every single day, as evidenced by a post per day of 1.6 even though i've posted like 10 times in the last 4 years lol. Weirdly enough i still recognize people from back then today, with the same names and profile pics and recognize people in-game too.

Blocklanders are one family, a family which is more toxic then chernobyl a day after the accident happened yet it's amazing to see how close people are. This game and this forum have molded me into the person who i am today from childhood. Who knew a forum about legos could make such an impact lol.

I guess that kinda makes sense, but even though that's true i'd think our community is strong enough to grow I guess, like I hopped onto a server today and recognized 2 names though the last I played was like 2 years ago. I also somehow recognize you, Mr.Nobody, McZealot and legoboss though i haven't been here in 2 years.

Well that sucks, I feel like blockland has the potential to be one of the best games out there as there's really absolutely nothing holding it back in terms of gameplay. why have we stagnated?
