On an unrelated note, is there a way to make civilian vehicles drive around normally? I'm thinking of making a few scenarios, and I thought that maybe civilians driving around could make it feel a little more real.

Operation Arrowhead comes with a Civilian Life scenario, you spawn with no weapons and walk around a Takistani city as a civilian player model. When I played it there were a couple of cars and a suicidal bus driving around, not sure if you can do it without OA and I'm not sure how to put it into a scenario. The cars seemed to be driving along the road like the normal AI (besides the suicidal bus, it slightly tipped over and started killing people on accident).

I think it's hilarious the trouble people have with mods. 7/10 times it's just a bad load order. Also for mods in general I like the Nexus, although if it's regularly updated I get it on the workshop because it automatically updates and I don't want to have to redownload a bunch of stuff with each version.

There should be more places to hide. Like in barrels or open boxes. I also remember someone on another forum said you should be able to fight back "instead of hiding like a pusillanimous individual". I think you should get a flintlock pistol or a sword but they would all be decorative and do no damage, after one shot/hit the monsters move faster and the weapon breaks. The best option is to just ignore the guy that wants weapons because that would ruin the game.

This is stupid. If they don't know English then how the hell do they even navigate the menus. We don't need to split up the community with crap like this.

Maybe they play a Russian translation?

Maybe they know English?

Maybe the menu buttons are pretty easy to navigate through trial and error?

Maybe they have American/European friends?

Maybe you're missing the fact that the point of this mod is to translate the English characters to Russian?

This mod doesn't translate your text to Russian, it just changes the English characters to Russian ones because they normally use a different alphabet than English speakers. If they typed a sentence in Russian on a keyboard marked with Russian characters it would come out as gibberish to both Russian speakers and English speakers.

Also I am bumping this topic because this mod is a good idea. I agree, the American community doesn't understand just how international this game really is.

I think Nintendo is trying to stop the cycle. Sony and Microsoft keep taking their ideas from Nintendo. Nintendo's "Power Glove" came out then Sony made "The Glove", Wii came out and Sony made the Playstation Move, Microsoft made Kinect sports games that looked almost exactly the same as Wii Sports.

In other news, Episode 3 needs to start their ARG or someone is going to murder Gaben.

So due to hexidecimal decoding and certain Gaben BSoDs a youtuber found substantial evidence that the Episode 3/HL3 ARG will start this E3. Not an announcement per say. If it doesn't show up again at least ABadFeeling will be commenting on it on their Mumble channel.

also, how do I spawn NPCs with weapons?

Holy stuff.

Some NPCs have default weapons (Citizen/Refugee spawn with pistol, Combine Elites spawn with AR2s), can't change them yet though.

It's going to be fixed, it's just for this update.

Okay. Didn't know if it was just mine. It does provide humor when the player runs around with his arm snapped.
