General Discussion / Re: Unjust Aftermath (Updates)

Never actually had the chance to play Martial Law back on 2014, but the idea sounds pretty cool. Plus, I've always liked the fort wars theme so there's that.

Hope it goes well. It looks like it has potential.

General Discussion / Re: VCE: Should I use it?

It really depends what you plan on doing.

If it's just a small server you're workin on, then yeah, go for it. If it's full RPG that you're trying to go for, I would strongly suggest leaning towards a script instead of events

Since I'm working on a personal server, I guess it would fit my needs.

It's mainly the use of infinite variable loops that can trap players and the fact that a single line of VCE can delete your player that makes it exploitable.
All of that can be fixed/stopped if administration is paying attention.

VCE also has a chance to crash a server via events by a player and break clients (meaning they have to either reconnect or restart Blockland)

Good to know.

I got enough so I'll lock the thread. Thanks guys!

how is it exploitable? is it just people spamming rockets, or are people using it to somehow get admin?

I've been away for a while, so I don't know. That's why I'm asking.

As the title states, would you guys recommend VCE still? I've heard that it's exploitable and such but am wondering if it's still OK to use or not.

Less likely to get an std, less likely to get an infection, less maintenance, less likely to rip ffs.

Basically what the title says. It's been a few years since the last time I've built on Blockland and I wanted to get some input on what experienced builders are using these days.

I know that using default bricks is an option (one that I am currently employing at the moment) but, like I said, I just would like to know what packs are good for filling in those gaps that the default pack can't.

I'd recommend making the model bounce when the player walks rather than remain static. Otherwise, seems pretty good so far!

Help / Changing Colorset
« on: August 12, 2016, 10:41:07 PM »
I can't seem to remember the name of the add-on that allows you to change your colorset through an interface. I know how to manually change the colors through the game's files but that's a pain in the butt if I want change between many colorsets for different builds.

Does anyone remember the name of that add-on and maybe where I can find it? Any help would be appreciated.
