Your DVR needs to have 2 inputs on the back in order for it to record 2 shows at once.

As for things not in the top part of the dxdiag:
HD/SSD Size:5.5 TB total streched across 4 drives Yes you read that right. Read below
Graphics Card/Chipset:GTX 260
Internet Type (DSL, Cable, T1, etc.): cable

Ok Western Digital really forgeted up with the RMA for my 3 month old 2tb drive (wrong addresses in the system and the unability to change it correctly). They sent me 2 new drives. One got to me and the other got into ups limbo due to them sending it out without a street number. So when it got back to them they said "Oh this doesn't have a RMA, RETURN TO USER!" and eventually ended up with the main CSR in the corporate offices to be baffled and said keep the extra drive.

It's possible for sparks to jump over random circuits from time to time. It's possible that this was just a random surge and a spark jumped the wrong connection. Clean off the area as best as possible with rubbing alcohol and a cotton swab. Let it dry for about an hour (or overnight since you'll be sleeping and not tempted to use the PC) and try again in the morning. That should eliminate the chance that it will repeat the problem and cause serious damage to your motherboard. Do the same with the sound board connections as well. Might as well be thorough.

Dont do that.
Sparks are bad.
Fire is bad.
Smoke is bad.
Anything that shouldnt be happening on a mobo is bad. Nothing can fix it unless you send it in for repairs or get it replaced.

Start looking for a new board because that is going to spread and cause it to fail. Might fry other things also.

God damn I'm tired of saying this.
The copy you get on MSDN is the RTM release, build 7600, NOT THE FINAL PRODUCT.

Yet its still free and I get it

7 has the same kernel base as vista but is patched so that it does not fail as bad as vista did when it first launched.
Also Automatic Updates download drivers for everything on your computer that is digitally signed.

Do what snot did. Cause the forums to forget up and have them updated, causing the usergroups to fail and getting the avatar privilege back.
