It was an executive decision that was Niblic's idea so we collectively decided to. I wasn't in the teamspeak server so Niblic must have had a reason, ask him.

I think it would be cool to try it with vehicles, maybe superkarts.
The gamemode itself runs fine the only issue was the ownership of the bricks, I made it load as public bricks and any of the supers could've hosted last night if they wanted.¯\_(ツ)_/¯

While suggestions are being thrown in the air and shot down just as quickly, would it be too much to ask for a lap timer, lap counter, and position in the bottomprint or something? I mean, you already have fully functional checkpoints, couldn't you work with them to produce like the 3 most important things in any racing game interface ever? I'm looking at you, Alpha. I know the checkpoint and lap are displayed for a split-second for you to see but couldn't you just place them on the bottomprint?
