Suggestions & Requests / A Timer
« on: August 08, 2007, 11:27:53 AM »
I'd like to see a simple timer. Whether run from commands or off of a GUI.
I'd use the addon for time trials with racing and many other things. Have a stopwatch, and a counter. Also allow the whole server to see the timer clock displayed. would be neat.

Yes, it is a dual core, Pentium D 2.8Ghz. ------2Gb ram..
Also an edit to my above Post... I completley reinstalled BL with no addons or extra map downloads installed. Just the very plain jane BL. And I still get the same result with my one of my cores maxed out. cpu never drops below 50%, but will get higher. Must be something with my system itself or the dualcore working with BL.

Help / BL runing my cpu at 50%
« on: May 30, 2007, 04:26:51 PM »
When I run Blockland, and look at my performance in task manager. one of my cpu cores is maxed out (max=50% of total cpu) and stays constant. I suffer only a little bit in game with performance since it wasn't doing it. But I wouldn't think it would be too good on my processer. Has anyone had similar problems to this, I remember when I host a dedicated server I had the same problem but only if I left the server running for more than a day. Now its all the time. The only thing that I have done differently is install a cpl maps and some addons. wouldn't think it would affect it but I don't know.  HELP??

Idea for the TBC clan member list:    Use BL ID numbers on your list as well as commonly used names. I don't change my name ever, but others do. For instance. Mr. Grinch got me into TBC. Mr.Grinches name is not on the list. Does he have a different name?  My number is 516 for future references.
Also, should forum discussions for the clan be held here, or at the TBC websites forums, or both?

Modification Help / Zmodeler and BL???
« on: May 30, 2007, 01:42:28 PM »
Getting Familiar with modeling in Zmodeler. Creating cars for Racer, an open source D3D car simulation. Can Zmodeler be used with modeling in Blockland, I believe Zmod mainly works with DOF files but there are many importing/exporting plugins. Still very much a noob at all of this. But between work and sleeping i have been plugging away and learning alot.

Help / Re: Autumn Pond crashing
« on: April 19, 2007, 12:13:56 AM »
I ran Autumn pond again to crash it and check the log. I'm not to good at reading these but i did take a look  towards the time of the crash and noticed these:

Could not locate texture: base/data/missions/default.png
Could not locate texture: base/data/missions/default.png
Could not locate texture: base/data/terrains/pond/autumn/snail/*ambient

I don't know if they have anything to do with it or not. If someone wouldn't mind takin a min to look over the txt attachment i would give you cookies. right?  srry still learning
---------------------------------------update
I reinstalled autumn pond directly to my blockland folder and everything went smoothly. Yet the game still crashes. I ran BL with my save and w/o to see if it might be a corrupt save file. But still crashes w/o loading bricks I've added a second and final console.txt file from after i have reinstalled the map if anybody cares to take a look. After this I'll just move on, haha. Also is there a way i might be able to get these specific missing files from someone? ty
