How would you assert your dominance? If your children have the same powers as you do then there's nothing that will prevent them from overthrowing you.

Discipline them as a kid and teach loyalty or just deal with the fact that I will get overthrownen because I can't give death penalty.i could also clone them from my DNA instead but I'm not gonna overthink it.

Immortality because I can pass on the gene and bam half of the human race is immortal. I can also clone them into an immortal army and take over the universe.
