I'm pretty sure you completely misunderstood what was going on there.
The build in the thread that Conan linked to was not what he was suggesting. He was linking to the response that he made to the thread saying it was a good idea but needed to be expanded on.


Oh well, I guess I did, misunderstood.

So I just played a gamemode on this map/build, which was «Find the Radio».

It consists in trying to find a radio which emits sounds, and you must find it before the others.

It was a simple gamemode, but it was still pretty damn fun :D

I outlined a possible map idea here

As for other ideas:

An island, like Lost. Might be difficult to make foliage appropriate for this idea though.

Oil Rig (as said earlier).

Interior of a mall

Space Station (bonus points for zero gravity and a way to navigate within it!)

Temple/Dungeon/Cave system interior

Port (spinoff of the ship map; ship is docked at a port which is cordoned off because of suspected terrorist activity. Interior of ship would be cut down and bricks spent on a port)

I don't want to burst your bubble, but the map is too small.

Addition of an example radio lessened spawn confusion.
Don't worry. I will release the save publicly at some point.
Prolly when I package the Gamemodes.

Will you rehost servers with the build again?
