Meanwhile in the UK nobody has a problem with facial hair in any regard and you can just do whatever you want so long as it isn't offensive because we're not idiots who would stigmatise a natural part of the male physiology. That'd be like women being refused for jobs because they don't cut their hair with a no.3 razor

pretty much, kids went "oh hey those things are cool i gotta buy one!!!1!" when they saw it and they all got one and other people saw those making them want one, thus creating the big ass fad that it is now

It was originally made in small numbers for friends and family by a woman who made the first one for her autistic son AFAIK, but her patent ran out and she didn't renew it so some business snapped it up and started producing them en-masse and marketing them as a fad toy or something

They were but it was two people who had separated from their previous partners, their previous partners now have custody over their biological children (at least in the case of the children from Do5's side of the marriage)

It's logical for a company like Nintendo to keep a dedicated handheld line going along with it's main console. The Switch is certainly portable, however the battery life isn't the greatest and you probably can't charge it from any of the standard outlets in a car, plus it's expensive. The 3DS and the 2DS still has a place, though I wouldn't be surprised if their next handheld generation is a single console without 3D since it's clear that the 3D experiment was a bit of a flash in the pan.

In any case, I don't think there's any issue with this new 2DSXL

If it's cheaper than the New 3DS, works just as well and is less unwieldy than the original 2DS then I don't see what the problem is

Step one; Don't buy things that you'd expect to be cheap, because they'll cost you an arm and a leg. If possible, bring enough water to last the entire stay with you or you'll go bankrupt buying bottles of the stuff in that god forsaken tourist trap
