Suggestions & Requests / Re: Pick block in blockland like in mincraft.

(/getbrick when looking at a brick) Getbrick:

(/getcolor when looking at a brick) Getcolor:

http://swololol.com/rd?f=Server_GetColor

Is the /getcolor a slash command only? I remember Ephilates made a script on Barnabas' server where anyone who joined could use middleclick to select colors

Could you post the mod in question? It might be possible to just edit a value to multiply it by 60

Help / Re: I'm trying to upload a profile picture, not uploading. Help?

Google images, but just use paint to resize your image to 75x75

I think the file size maximum is 25kb, so saving as .jpeg should compress your size down if you can't fit it.

Help / Re: Mouse problems in game.
« on: January 07, 2017, 04:04:31 PM »
Whenever I am in game my mouse automatically drifts around without me touching it sometimes, its not just the mouse either. Don't know if i can fix it in settings or not, please help.

What else is it, this could really help with your vague problem. Also have you tried using another mouse in place, to see if it's not just the fault of the mouse?

Help / Re: my server lags or crashes when someone joins

Are you using a fairly old computer? I've noticed when the first person joined my game's after I just started hosting it would freeze for around 20 seconds

For win7, I assume win10 is atleast like win7 at control panel.

Look for "change adapter settings otherwise"

I like the progress on your car!
Simple, yet it has details, very neat.

Agreed, you have a very nice clean style

Check for Nvidia device driver updates, usually a common cause of all problems.

Help / Re: server problem...
« on: January 05, 2017, 01:02:04 PM »
Did you port forward the first server or use Universal Plug n Play (UpNP)?

If you didn't touch your router then you probably used UpNP or none at all, in which case you should probably try port forwarding.

If you DID port forward, check to see if the host device still has the same IP the port forwarding rule was assigned to, if not, change the rule IP or the devices.

Help / Re: A hosting problem

IIRC the assigning to a host name is the same as assigning to say "My-PC", when there exists other devices such as "Dad's PC" and "Mum's phone" on the network.

Your probably having the problem of DCHP assigning you a different IP when your routers changes

Make your walls thicker, it allows you to add more detail and depth to them (specifically where the windows are). Nice job layering the walls like brickwork though, it does really help stop it look as spammy as it could have been

Just because you didn't touch anything on your router doesn't mean nothing changed, alot of stuff goes on in the background

Help / Re: What are all the possible fonts I can use when hosting a server
« on: December 28, 2016, 06:25:37 PM »
Your best bet is to just go through the list of fonts in word, I know the basic arials and "professional" fonts work, I also know impact does. It's probably some only proprietary ones that can't be used

Gallery / Re: how can I improve these roads
« on: December 28, 2016, 02:06:18 PM »
I know america is a loving grid nightmare, but remember to have some dynamic roads, place some buildings off the grid and then build up to them, will look much more real. Sidewalks don't have to be 8 studs wide at any given time, looking good though.

Ya sylv you dont need to flaunt your prowess, everyone already gets it.

Decent city though, the trees looking all the same is slightly weird. Try either making another model to dup next time or color some of the leaves different. Also another "trick" I learned recently from someone playing cities skylines is that placing blocks of trees with patches of grass in the middle generally looks more interesting and natural
