In my opinion it's pretty easy to be a pacifist until someone close to you gets killed or the attacks are so bad that they hit close to home. Basically from what I see one the web it takes one event to go from a pacifist to jingoist.

In the case of the EU, it seems like a lot of people supported immigration until large masses moved into their villages. Some sort of culture shock I imagine. A good example of "not in my backyard" I guess.

I like how the shoe is on the other foot. For year and years I've had to put up with extreme leftist types from France and Germany about the Mexican border. Now those same people are complaining about Merkel letting into "too many" refugees. More like "I love racial diversity and immigration......as long as it's not in my country."

Might as well take what we can since the Same thing in WW2 happened. Jewish refugees pull into the United States, we sent them packing as they reached the US. Guess what happened as soon as they reached Germany? They were all killed after their ship pulled in. The allied high command knew of the Death Camps and the only reason Israel exists was to maintain good PR since news of Auschwitz and other camps was reaching the public.

It is true there are a lot of CIA sympathizers amongst the refugees, many of whom hate the kurds and the fact we helping them. We'll just have to sift through the good and bad seeds.

Since power armor is now a vehicle and a walking tank. That got me thinking

Small drivable tanks, something like the L3/35. Would make sense for the NCR to build something like this since you can get more fire power and mobility out it with slightly less protection.

I think everyone should have at least one or two days guaranteed to be with their family. People work so they can pay to feed and support themselves and their families, not be wage slaves to appease some person who'd rather shop on a holiday than be at home.

Black Friday is a disgusting practice anyway. Marking the prices up then dropping them back down to fool people into thinking they are the getting a good deal when really they are voluntarily gathering like cattle to go buy something they will probably throw out next year.

It feels like we skipped Thanksgiving altogether.

I've noticed a few years ago myself. My guess two things have happened if not both: 1) Political Correctness for fear of offending Native American, 2) More profit can be made of Christmas.
