Creativity / Sothink SWF Quicker - Alternative to Flash
« on: January 06, 2010, 11:51:16 AM »
I'm not sure if this is the right section to post this, but Sothink SWF Quicker, an alternative to Flash, is available free today only from GOTD! It even supports actionscript (as far as I can tell the syntax is identical)

It's over.

I especially like the demoman one.

EDIT: Due to the fact that you can play TF2 for free this weekend, Steam lets you buy GMod without owning a source game. (I gifted GMod to my friend :D )

Just because it's a robot doesn't mean it can't be designed like a human is.

The reason for your drawing looking so crappy is that you have the basic anatomy wrong; your shading and coloring actually looks somewhat decent to me. Males tend to be more square-shouldered and block-like in form (which is how your character appears), while females are more rounded in form and tend to have breasts rather than being flat-chested (definitely not in your picture). I drew an approximation of your character the way I would have drawn her (This was drawn entirely with a computer mouse, so hence the crappy lines+shapes and simplistic shading).

Compare that to your drawing, and it becomes clear which appears more feminine, although I still don't understand the whole flat-on-top bald head idea for a female character.

As far as 2D game creators go, I prefer Construct, mostly based upon the fact that it's
free. :D

Oh come on now, it was a simple typo.  Don't need to pour salt on the wound.

No, he typed RobloX in both the poll and the topic title. Fail.

This site is clearly a parody.

And also, just to argue towards Christianity, isn't it just so convenient that the first life that came into existence had the complex ability to reproduce which our advanced civilization today can't even engineer into robots.
