Bump, I got a weapon pack I started in the background as life progressed; dealing with big jobs at the machine shop I'm working at.

This right here is some serious dedication man! I applaud you for your RnD in the algorithms of the AI of those bots. Damn well impressed you also managed to integrate them to honk their horns and panic upon being threatened!

I love it

Bippity boppity! It's time for a quality of life update that can be in your property!

First off, for both below, I introduced a exhaust emitter that toggles when you enter the vehicle, and stops when you exit!

For the Manco Go-Kart, I also re-did the engine sounds.

And most proudly for the Drift Trikes, remastered models for the Default and CarsAndCameras Turbo Trike!

I also recently installed a street bike muffler on my Trike IRL, so I sampled the engine sound again and translated it over to the Blockland version

Note to self. Making the Vitesse Ettor SS go over 260 Miles Per Hour was both the best and worst mistake of my life. It's hella fun though.

Cars in this game typically have a max speed limit of 200 BPS or exactly 155 MPH. The Ettor doesn't even reach 155 MPH. However, decreasing a vehicle's mass allows you to go even faster than that. So I thought I'd forget around with some cars and give them their real-life top speeds.

It's uhhh... pretty intense. After driving around at some fast speeds, going back to the average speeds most cars drive at in Blockland feels so sluggish lol.
Best be careful decreasing mass though; cars will get REALLY twitchy with suspension and steering depending how light [as-a-feather] you make it...

That's really sad; I enjoyed reading the bible verses he integrated into his V20 map descriptions...He's home now.

I'll keep the frame intact underneath!

Bump; nothing new unfortunately to report as I have been focused on other things in life, but hoping to resume progress soon!

I'm still waiting for Filipe to make a Legacy pack that adds all his older cars. DeLorean, Venom, Jeep Mk2, etc.
Honestly Kenko's Archive is your friend in this case. That and if you can do the right searching in his older posts/topics. Unless if you meant a remaster, which is a different story...

The American Speedster Pedal cars are released!

Add-Ons / [1.0 - Vehicle Pack] American Speedster Pedal Cars
« on: April 03, 2022, 10:29:20 AM »

Founded in Tallahassee, FL, American Speedster was produced to provide an inexpensive solution to pedal-powered cars to everyone with PVC pipe construction, and common bicycle hardware. This pack features all of the kits that are available on the website itself.

The Karts (Click to enlarge any of the photos)

  • 6 Pedal Cars: [From left to right above] SunCoaster, Baja, Sidekick, Sidekick II, Speeder, Zephyr [pronounced zz-eh-fir]
  • Varying CVS Categories: Body, Secondary, Roof, Accessories
  • Pedal Animations: Foward motion toggles the pedals to animate (Excluding the Speeder)
  • Variable Weight: Each pedal car has the same top speed, the only difference is their acceleration via their mass values
  • Hands on Vehicle Support
  • No Engine Sound Support as these are human powered.

Requires ONLY Support_Garage to work properly

The Zephyr has made it's debut!

Featuring a mechanical brake lever!

Imported some goodies from the Speeder, as well...

Oh yea, the Speeder can have these now

The red and teal are colorable on the flags 😉
4 down, 2 to go

Also, I have failed to mention this in the last blog, but did you know that the pedals ANIMATE? This was delaying V1's release way long ago, but thanks to learning about these features from the Lil' Rascal and others in the past, it is now possible!

Only works with forwarding motion, however, but you can Flinstone in reverse...right?

American Speedster is back in development, and this time they are much simpler than ever!

Re-introducing the Sidekick, Baja, and Speeder pedal cars!

For newer users, this project was developed based on building my own Sidekick with my Dad over 9 years ago from American Speedster, it has evolved over the years with creativity and new conceptual designs, and I still do not regret making it.

Each PVC-frame design here uses nurbs paths from Blender converted into a mesh, to help outline the main features of the body. I've removed the extra extrusions for the fittings so it's all unibody.

So starting off with the Sidekick, the brute of them all.

Next up is the Baja, meant for younger riders 150lbs and under, but the Blockhead fits rather nicely.

Comparing sizes to the Sidekick, pretty sure I nailed the proportions.

Lastly made from a plastic burn barrel, the Speeder! All the toddlers love scooting and pedaling with these soapbox carts, and now can you!

Wheel guards, and lightbulbs included!

Minimal CVS parts are currently integrated, and more are to follow shortly. I do not plan to add Engine Sounds since these are currently pedal-powered.

I still have 3 more karts to model: The Sidekick II, Zephyer, and Suncoaster, and then this will be yours!
