Spring Break Madness

1) Boundary
Description: Prevents players from leaving the map
RTB Prefs: Boundary Center, Warn Boundary Radius, Kill Boundary Radius, Warn Time, Warn Message
Other:
 - Comes with a /setBoundaryCenter command, which will set the boundary center to your player's location.
 - Displays the warn time at the end of the message
 - Flashes message in your face
 - Gives all players a natural safety radius to prevent stupidity

Description: Heal damage over time, and run like the wind!
RTB Prefs: None
Other:
 - Recovery rate is based off of amounts of stamina and health
 - Comes with a Recover Playertype and Sprinting Playertype (Not the crappy one)

RTB Prefs: On/Off, Type (Exponential or Linear), Requirement (Score or Kills), Difficulty, Save Ranks

Spring Break Madness
(Released add-ons here!)

Hello fellow forumers! Spring Break is this week for me, and boy do I have something for you!

During my Spring Break, I'm going to release a new add-on EVERY. SINGLE. DAY.

The best part? YOU decide the order of which I release them!

Voting will start now, and the leading add-on will be released.

Each day, I will reset voting, and remove the released add-on from the poll, and you will get another round of mindless bashing for the add-on you desire.

Here's the catch. I'm only going to release 5 add-ons. However, there's 8 add-ons on the list.

You know what that means? You gotta VOTE! Or else you're NOT getting it! (THIS MEANS WAR!)

Enough explaining! Let's see what's to come!



Add-Ons
(Some add-ons will remain hidden until completion)

1) Boundary (Released)

TIME EXTENSION CHALLENGE

Do you still want one of the three remaining add-ons? Are you just dying for those variable replacers, sick of noobs camping underwater with vehicles, or desire a way to keep track of your kill/death ratio?

Then try to complete my DM Challenge!

What's the challenge, you say?

Simple. First, join my server. Everytime someone kills someone else, a counter goes up. We'll call this the kill counter. Your goal, is to get that above 10,000 before midnight tonight.

Everyone's kills will contribute to this counter (except if you Self Delete like a friend).

Think you guys have the balls to complete this challenge?

If you successfully complete my challenge I will release the three remaining add-ons.

Upgrading Weapons!

Your weapons can upgrade! How? By OWNING. 5 Kills with any weapon in this pack, in a single life, grants you the upgraded version of that weapon until you die. That's right, you have to EARN your weapons! No more grabbin' the good stuff and rampaging the server! All weapons in the pack upgrade! From the plain ol' Gun to the good ol' Shotgun!

Custom Playertype!

You even get your own Playertype (Called Dogfight Playertype)! This baby can sprint. Oh, no, not at all like the Sprinting Playertype that is currently out. This Playertype can sprint in ALL directions! Sprint Jumping requires Stamina, so no more exploiting that! Did I also mention that you can do MORE than sprint with it? This Playertype also recovers damage overtime! If you health gets low, you'll heal faster than if you're in fighting condition. Also, your stamina plays into the recovery process! More stamina means faster recovery! However, this recovering feature WON'T save you life in a fight! You'll have to flee before the healing kicks in (And you can flee twice as fast!)

I'm STILL not done here. Your playertype can upgrade as well! Take 500 damage in one life, and you get the SUPER Dogfight Playertype. This guy has more health, more stamina, faster recovery, and even an extra inventory slot! HELLS YEAH!

Help System!

Hao2does? What am medal? What's dis?

Solve stupid questions (with non-stupid answers) with the Help system! Everything here is briefly explained. Just type /WModHelp, and you'll be on your way to getting an education!

Medals and Awards!

Awards are simple. It's the item you get when you upgrade a weapon. Medals are the little tokens that say "I kicked everyone's butt." Awards fade when you die. Medals stick around till the war is over!

You'll want both of these if you expect to be top dog.

Complex Ranking System!

The way your rank is determined is by three factors. Whether or not you have medals enabled, whether or not you are saving stats (read below), and your total number of kills.

There are a total of FIFTY ranks! It's not easy to reach the top! Especially if your saving stats.

If you're curious as to what the ranks are, just say /listRanks, and you'll see all kinds of fun stuff!

HUD Display!

What's my Health? Why can't I sprint anymore? Do I have any medals? Say no more!

The HUD Display feature will show you everything you need to know! Everything from Health to your Longest Kill Streak is displayed! Never not know your stats again!

Item Saving!

Tired of grabbing the same old crap each time? Fear not, as I have the solution!

The Item Saving Feature saves your items (Duh). Be warned! If you have a Tier 2 weapon, it will revert back to Tier 1! Sorry! :D

Item Dedication!

"This item is not in the minigame!" D:

Who cares!? With Item Dedication, that problem is GONE. Now you can leave your server, and do as you please! Those lil' ol' noobs will just keep on keeping on as you're off doing the things normal people do.

Stat Saving!

I worked SO hard for this Rank. Why can't I keep it? :'(

Turn that frown upside-down! Your stats will save (if the Host was nice enough to enable the features), Your kills, medals, rank, and more, will all be saved! Don't worry, you can come back later, and still retain your bragging rights (So no more lying about "I got to rank 50 last night. *shades*".

Kill/Death Ratios!

Wanna really shot off? Your K/D Ratio is the way to go! The more people you kill, the higher it goes! The more people kill you, the lower it goes! But don't worry, KDR's do not save, so you get a clean slate each time you come back. KDR's are the real way to say "Hey, I'm better than you." because time only perfects the ratio, unlike score, kills, and medals. Anyone can get those in an infinite amount of time, but it takes a REAL pro to get a high KDR.

Variable Replacers!

If you know me, you know that I'm a total VCE nut. Therefore, I've added in variable replacers for total kills, kill/death ratio, medals, and more! They could come in handy if you want to do things other than grant weapons with awards.

RTB Prefs!

This thing is RTB compatible! There's plenty of prefs! Nearly every feature of this mod can be disabled if you don't like it, or just don't want it, or just plain hate me. :c

Even your HUD Display comes with Prefs. You can toggle which stats you want to show up!

MOOOOORE!

Did you honestly think that I was through? I'm not even CLOSE to being through!

Remember, this IS a Modified WEAPONS Pack. You should know what's been changed!

For one, all bullets have spread and gravity. Yes, even those good ol' defaults! Spread is variable! The faster you move, the worse your aim!

The Sniper Rifle now does RANGED based damage! No more 1 Hit KO's at point blank, You actually have to snipe with it! The further away you are, the more it hurts!

The Frag Grenade is now DANGEROUS! No more 20 or 30 pieces of shrapnel that do garbage to your health. We're talkin' about over a HUNDRED pieces of shrapnel! That's right! And there's even more if you upgrade it! That's not all that's been done. The shrapnel pieces actuall HURT now! If you hear the think clickin' on the ground, RUN!

This add-on may still have a few kinks in it, so it's our job to search and destory those glitches and exploits.

Still want more? Well this add-on won't be private. I plan on releasing it! That's right, you can HAVE it! Originally, I was going to keep this as a private mod. Modification Help / Slot 1?

The Player Armor has a set of Triggers. I know of 4 of them, and I can't seem to find one of them.

Slot 0 = Fire
Slot 1 = ???
Slot 2 = Jump
Slot 3 = Crouch
Slot 4 = Jet

I've always been curious as to what it is. I've tried several things, and never found it.

I need to keep the chest color of a player the same as much as possible without locking down the avatar.

Needed for teams.

I need to replace an item on a function.

I can get the item to go away, but not make the new one.

ShootOnClick uses slot 0 (Activate/Use/Fire) as it's firing trigger.

Well, what if I wanted to use the jump button instead? I know it's Slot 2.

Modification Help / Checking for minigame damage?

I'm using the function "Projectile::Damage(%this,%obj,%col,%fade,%pos,%norm)", and I need to check if the player who fired the bullet and the player who got hit are in the same minigame. Once that comes back as true, I need to check if the minigame has damage enabled.

Help?

I've tried this,

and complared the two variables. When not in a minigame, they match. When in a minigame, they no longer match.

Without the minigame check the function damages anything, regardless of minigame and/or enabled damage.
