I figured I'd make a forum topic for the server I've got up seeing as no one has joined yet.
My forum name is Sergio and I have recently changed my in game name to RegimentalDerp, just to clarify.

Basically, players quite literally battle for control over the top of a hill.
Each player is given the ShockWave weapon by Phydeoux.

The idea is that players use the ShockWave to knock there opponents to kingdom come.

I'd appreciate it if people checked it out, as well as rated the idea. x/10
It's incredibly difficult for me to get people to join my servers. Something I don't remember being a problem last time I played.

Off Topic / My Keyboard's Backlight

So I bought a Laptop with built in LED's that light up the keyboard. (At least I think there LED's) An expensive one too. There are three lights in use. One lighting the left side, one lighting the middle portion, and one lighting the right side. I can use a program that came with my computer to mess with the colors of the lights.

I noticed something odd while experimenting with colors I like. The Light on the right side doesn't produce the color red. It may sound strange. For example If I chose the color yellow it will appear as green, if I choose the color white it will appear as cyan, because there is no red being produced. It makes sense if you under stand the physics of it.

It bothers me so much because I'm a little OCD about it. Does anyone know what I could do that doesn't involve shipping it off to get repaired?

General Discussion / Returning to Blockland

Hi yawl. I just recently re-download Bockland on to a new computer. It's been ages since I've played. Thank god I still had my key written down. I believe the last version I remember playing was 16. So now that I'm back everything's different! I've been playing the much different game, and I've already noticed the new GUI and the new gamemode things, but what confuses me most is the way the maps work now. Where'd the Bedroom and Kitchen go? Where'd the Slopes go? What happened to the Maps that I loved so? Could someone explain all this to me? I don't like change!!

Help / "No Suitable Display Device"

When I try to run Blockland, It crashes before reaching the title screen, and I receive a message telling me it cannot detect a suitable display device. It suggests I go to the Blockland homepage for information on updating my display drivers.

I have used the Direct X Diagnostic Tool to view the information on my display drivers. My Chip Type says "Intel HD Graphics Family." So I don't think the problem is that my display drivers are too old.

Someone help!

Off Topic / Which Laptop should I get?

I'm in the market for a new Laptop. My budget is around $1000. I'll mainly be using it for gaming.
I want to be able to play Guild Wars 2 and Battlefield 2 when they come out.

I want an HP, and I've decided on two models.

So which should I get?

Games / Which game should I buy?

Title says it all. I've got no Idea which one I want the most. They all seem like great decisions to me! Unfortunately I can only purchase one for now.

So, I'd like to know which one you guys would recommend, and which one you guys like the most!

Right now I'm leaning towards Oblivion, but that game just seems so played out. It's dated graphics and engine just make me want to wait for Elder Scrolls V: Skirym.

It's a Catastrophie!

Because of a power surge which occured during a thunderstorm, I am left without a working router.
I can no longer play my PS3 or browse the web on my laptop. I am sadface.

My router is busted now, so I'm in the market for a new one.
What kind would you reccomend?

Lots of people have been talking about experiencing these same thunderstorms.
Maby you know what I'm talking about. Hopefully your haveing more luck getting through this bad weather than I.

Anyone into making Sprite Movies?

We'll I am, and I'm sick of using Windows Movie Maker.
Don't know what to get next but It needs to some in handy when it comes to making sprite movies.

Right now I'm working with MS Paint and Windows Movie Maker
Not really a good combination for what I'm trying to get into.

So what's the best way to make Sprite Movies? What should I get?
Other than Photoshop. I don't have that but I'll get it soon.

Modification Help / Color set help

I have made a color set with 8 columns and 9 rows

when I view the color set in the preview I can see all of it,
but when i get into the game and I am selecting the colors the 8th column is not there.
It seems to be covered up by the FX column.

I am confused rather or not there is a color limit or a column limit or something.
Although I did once see a color set with 9 columns, so I do't know...

I'm not going to release it, because i know theres already like 40 color sets out there.
I'm just making it for my personal needs, so don't flame me about that.

Also I'm not sure if this is the right section for this.
This is the first time I've ever made anything like this.

Off Topic / Windows XP, or Windows 7?

I don't know if I should switch or not.

I've heard that Windows 7 is much better than Vista.
In fact I heard that Windows 7 has done like 250% better its first two weeks.

But does that mean that its better than Windows XP?
I've got Windows XP, and I have to say that I'm getting kinda tired of it.
I would like something more shiny.

So would buying Windows 7 be worth it?
You tell me...

I herd of a software that converted pixels from a picture into bricks on Blockland.
Whatever that software is I diddnt use it.
And could someone please explain to me what exactly this software is?
( If it does exist, I might just be crazy )

Im confused cuz he says he "is working on V11"
But he also has a quote from Eric Hartman.
It also says founded: Eric Hartman,
But I dont know If I should believe that it is his or just a fan.

He also says "Blockland Facebook Fan Thingy ( Yeah Close But Far Away )"
I dont know about you, but that doesn't sound like Badspot at all.

If its not, then I think Badspot / Eric Hartman should make an Official Facebook / Twitter / Myspace Blockland Account. That would be pretty cool.

EDIT: And it would deffinatly make this game more popular.

And I appologize if this topic offends anyone, I know what the BL community can be like. Ya know, maby someone will get pissed because someone already asked about this... IDK, Just say the word and I'll lock it.
