Games / I always wanted to make my own block building game

I'm not sure if this is the right board to post this to. I remember playing Brickadia a few months ago, while graphics are impressive, I don't like the general direction the game is going for. I left a few months ago also so I'm not sure what has been updated or anything has been updated. I'm currently a moderator on the Block Party discord though there hasn't been any activity lately from it sadly.

And I thought to myself, what if I take a spin at making my own block game? Sure, there would be a huge challenge to overcome when making it, but at least its something new to try out to get my programming skills even higher than right now.

So if I were to make a block building game like Blockland, what would you guys want in it? And a few more questions, what should the modding language be and what would be the prefer engine to run the game? Thanks!

Help / My dedicated server keeps printing "Authentication FAILED: DNS error."

It was working yesterday and I made no changes to it, now it keeps on printing this error message that it failed to connect to the DNS?
Any solutions to fix this issue?

This kid does have steam and my brother accidentally click that link and now Mitch traced my IP, location, passwords, emails, etc... So If I do get hacked, remember its not me but this kid. I'm using my antivirus and changing passwords now.
What else do I need to do?

I removed all URLs and real names incase your wondering about the missing information.

Edit: Should I try to unplug my router and wait for IP change?

Help / All websites for RTB Archive addon will not work.

First rtb-archive will just download a corrupted addon file
Both lugnut and nerrad websites never connect.

I don't need to post any logs because I tried this on both steam and nonsteam versions.
A fix please?

Help / What ever happen to the loading brick sound?

In v20 when you load your save, the bricks that load will play the brick planting sound.
But on v21 that doesn't happen at all.

Help / Virtual Box tempers with blockland connection to the internet?

When I ever install Virtual Box, it always some how glitches blockland from being online.
Its just always offline when I use it. No other application has done this before when I used Virtual Box.

I did uninstall it and that was the case but if I re-install it again, will there be a fix towards this?
If its part of Virtual Box, then I guess there is no fix for it then.

Anyway to fix it?

Trench Zombies

Since there is two more days left until my birthday, I decided to create this random game from idea.

Screenshots:



Plot:
The plot of the game for now is some evil scientist trapped some people (you guys) and stuff some zombies in a cage.
Yea uh I will just create a better plot soon.

Updates:
1/24/16
Added the game, people start with guns.
Built a small area, soon to be expanded in the future.
