so in summer last year i started to work on this temple type structure. have worked intermittently on it since mostly round january & the past month or so

felt like building a street inspired by buildings in downtown manhattan. it's not finished but here's some pictures
i also included my old marriott custom house build as i thought it'd fit nicely










everything here is built by me except

the brown building has two interiors built by vitawrap

so yeah uhhh rate if you want and stuff
minus the marriott custom house, this all took around a week maybe to make and with a lot of distractions anyway

Gallery / WIP Unnamed Spaceship

1000th post. Woohoo

This is an interior for some unnamed alien spaceship.

So back at the beginning of this month I had some idea for some viewscreen and simply started building it and modifying it until I got the main viewscreen on the bridge, and eventually it grew into a whole deck. I pretty much experimented around and got the best interior I've probably ever made.

This ship is a small one, with only 3 decks in total, designed to be used by a minimum of 3 people in a currently mostly safe part of space (so no weapons). I kind of think of it as some kind of "space caravan" or something.

Currently finished is the middle deck, with a bridge, meeting room, engine control room and engine maintenance "room", with maintenance tubes above the corridors and two lifts. Planned for the other decks are living quarters, mess hall, medical area, cargo hold, and possibly some kind of entrance room. The exterior will be the last thing to be built, with a ring around it all which will enable FTL travel and some sort of sub-FTL engines at the back.

So you guys might remember my "Two neoclassical buildings" thread, where I showed you guys a picture of a building I was going to turn into a library.
As I said in that topic, it was the base for the Marriott Custom House, a tower in Boston, which I was building.

Now, it's finished.

So a year ago I started to make a chunk of Manhattan using modter and default bricks only, keeping it approximately as big as it really is in real life. Now, I'm going to continue it.

In it are and will be some famous landmarks of New York, such as:
Madison Square Garden
Empire State Building
Times Square
Chrysler Building
Bank of America Tower
Rockefeller Centre
Metlife Building
UN Headquarters
and more.

Last year I began making a 1:1 scale replica of the Marriott Custom House, whose tower is built on top of a neoclassical building.
I had the idea to make a library using that neoclassical building, so far no interior.
Here it is

Later, I had found some other neoclassical facade and built something based on it.

You can rate and stuff.

the Kohoutek virus was first reported at Kohoutek's Objects of Random server where victims' appearances changed to become similar to Kohoutek's appearances. Kohoutek's friends are to be avoided as it is unknown whether this virus is harmful or not

Mini Dubai

This is a miniature version of the city Dubai, in the United Arab Emirates.
I started this project on the 15th of September 2013 and started with the Burj Khalifa.
My goal is to build as much of Dubai as I can, including projects that are cancelled, on hold, proposed, etc.
Projects not yet built will be built according to renderings of the latest design, though in some cases, like the Dubai World Trade Centre District, due to lack of information an earlier design might be built instead.
