General Discussion / [NEW MAP] Quake-Like DM

It's back!

This 24/7 server is supposed to mimic the chaotic arena shooter action of games like Quake and Unreal Tournament, using Bushido's Quake Type weapons (and the FaecPwner).

There are currently five arenas:

qldm1



This arena is a three-level complex with a simple building style and simple textures. It has many ramps and neat geometry that you probably won't look at because you'll be too busy flying through the map at high speeds. The map includes three unique weapons, as well as lava pits.

This arena is extra dangerous because it's floating in a void.  Six jump pads and a special way to get the Faecpwner in the center.

This asymmetrical indoor/outdoor map has many different levels and ways to forget over your enemies.

This multi-level, evil giant castle has the most interactivity out of any of the maps.  When all of the tower's beams are powered on, something special happens.

This is definitely the most Quake-like map I've made so far.  It takes much of its aesthetics from the first Quake game, especially the teleporters and the skybox.

Gallery / Doom – E1M1 Remake (mostly finished)

I made this a few years back and never finished it so I decided to release it anyway.
It's not 100% accurate but it's close enough imo.

The level layout is done, but most of the items are not so it's pretty barren.

All the secrets are in (except the button in the room with the armor and the tech pillars), but the platform/elevator secret (behind the demon in the zig-zag room) isn't functional. It's there, but you'll have to orb in.

Unfortunately I worked on the two sides of the "horseshoe" separately, so the second half turned out to be slightly lower than the first half. Oops!

I couldn't be bothered to make them the same height so I just made it slope downward slightly.

Are there any posters or print bricks in general who could go flush against a brick? Or can someone make one? The current poster brick we have is right in the middle of a stud.
