Creativity / Music Producers of the BLF: Should I get Sylenth1 or Nexus2?

I'm looking to get a plugin thats good for stuff like EDM and uplifting trance/dance stuff. Nexus seems good since it has a whole load of presets, but the fact that it requires an elicenser while Nexus is really expensive is kind of a turnoff. But Sylenth doesnt seem like its good for upbeat dance. That and its sound library is limited to only synths as far as i can tell.

Can any music producers on here tell me which one is better?

Games / Extreme lag on GMOD server?

Hi all, recently ive been trying to play on my friends GMOD server but I keep getting extreme lag. Such as when I spawn stuff in it takes up to three minutes to register and makes the game nearly unplayable. The funny part is that I have good connection and a good graphics card as well.

Im serious, why do people believe this? Its baffling, It goes against everything that science has proven, its full of things that can be proven wrong, and worst of all, most people learn this in elementary school. How does one not learn elementary science?

Can someone enlighten me on this?

Hey all, I was looking around online the other day and I came across a pretty cool knife I like. The only problem is that it opens using a button and its a federal crime to buy or sell one online, However it is legal to buy one in my state, as I have seen a couple apring knives sold in shops.

Any idea where I could find one in a store or something?

Hey all, I was listening to some music on a spotify radio, and I came across some drums I really liked in this song. I have recorded a snippet of it using Audacity.

I know the drums in the beginning are either bass or taiko, but the drums later on with a sharp smacking sound after the electronic buzz thing are what im trying to figure out.

Help / Blockland is laggier than usual?

Hi all, I recently reinstalled blockland, and while playing a game I experienced extreme lag, and no, its not my GPU, cause Ive played on 200k bricks with max shadows with no lag at all. The problem seemed to appear out of thin air, considering ive never had this problem before.

Hi all, I recently started composing an imposing national anthem for a fictional nation I created, and I think its turning out pretty darn good. I used FL Studio to arrange and compose it and I used EastWest Quantum Leap for all the instruments.

Games / Error while installing unturned?

Hey all, I recently tried installing unturned so I could play on my friends server, however I ran into some difficulty. It installs normally for the first part, however at the end of the first steps I get this error:


Im at a loss for what to do, I visited the file in question, "304930" and there is nothing in the folder, I tried enabling "show hidden folders" but still I get nothing. I manually deleted the folder from "temp" and it still persisted, I deleted unturned manually and it still is persisting. I have no idea what to do at this point. I have tried almost everything, I googled the problem and I found no help whatsoever, just people going "i have the same problem omg what ever will i do".

Im at this point considering going onto my plan B crappy PC to run unturned. But thats less than favorable cause it runs slowly and is 7 years out of date in terms of hardware.

General Discussion / How to make bots use body armor?

Not sure if this is the right place to ask, but anyway, Im working on a map, and this map requires me to use guards for a certain section. Im looking for a way to make them equip Gravity Cats body armor on spawn, and if possible equip a gun as well.
