Help / (tutorial) how to host a dedicated server on Mac.

it's really easy, but for those of you who don't know how:
1. go in you're v12 folder and launch the dedicated.command. the game should start automatically.
2. if you have RTB, when you are promted in consle to, type this in console.

Code: [Select]

setupRTBDedicated("YourUsername",1);

(youreusername is replaced with your screen name, witch you have to do)
if you don't have RTB, skip step 2.
3. launch an internet game.
You're done!
(note: for some reason,  the dedi will shut down if you turn you computer off.
hosting a dedicated LAN game:
same thing, only you run the dedicatedLAN.command instead and launch a LAN game.

I noticed nothing was diffrent, ( there was no mac v8 so i used v1.03m)  the addons seemed the same.  What is the diffrence?

Help / I figured out the port forwarding problem, now what?

The problem was that I could only host once on my mac. This is also a problem with apps like toon town so it could only connect once. But, this is not an issue with pirates online, witch plays fine. Help?

its terrible! its so messy, dosnt mold well, and its so powdery. one of my friends said it doesn`t float on water, so you can`t make cool waterfalls like on the comercial.

Help / alt-fires on weapons

there are weapons with alt-fires when you press jet. if i multiple mods with alt-fires enabled, the alt-fires wont work at all. so that means weapons that completely rely on alt-fires (like the OSR and the portal gun) just arent the same. i could disable the mods with alt-fires except for one, but that wouldn't be convenient. help?
