Off Topic / Question about Sydney Funnel Web spider.

Okay, so I got in a conversation with my friend's boyfriend about spiders and he keeps insisting that the Sydney Funnel Web spider can bite through a steel toe boot.

Since I'm pretty sure that's dumb and fake I'd like some help citing this. I've looked everywhere and I've only seen people on like wiki answers say that they can do that. I've watched a documentary about it and still nothing mentioned about that incredible power. I've heard they can bite through soft shoes but nothing more.

He also claimed the fangs to be two inches which what I've read they get up to 7mm. Help me fact check this cause I'm pretty sure I'm right but I want to be positive.

So if anyone can help me google an accurate fang size or about the power of one that'd be useful.

So my nephew has a laptop that he can't use installers on. Nothing can be installed, but If I used a flashdrive with a preinstalled copy it would work. Any idea on how I can get this?

I'm looking to get a tablet to draw with and I don't know much about which one's are good so I was looking to you guys since I know some of you actually know about these things. Please only post if you actually know what you are talking about.

Please suggest some tablets to me because I don't want to buy something poor quality that won't last or work like it should.
PRICE RANGE
$30, probably stuffty and I can afford more
$40-50, only if it was a really good deal
$60ish, This is where I'm hoping to find one, but can go higher still.
$70-80, this is pretty high but where I'd still likely buy
$90ish, Would consider, but only if the quality can be proven
100+, too expensive.
Sorry if the colors throw you off, I wanted to clearly represent what I can afford but also what I'd prefer in price. I've looked at some and I've got one in mind for $60 but it's not a sure thing and I'd much rather see what you guys think.

So normally my holiday is pretty good but this year has just been horrible. Yesterday ended up being stuffty and I woke up sick and angry today which led to fighting and more frustration. So now I'm here trying to keep it together sick and and cold. How about you guys, how'd yours go?

Smite is a strategy game similar to League of Legends.
It is currently in closed beta but I can send invites trough email.
Starting off you pick from 5 characters. But you gain favor and can use that to unlock more.
The characters you start off with are...

Artemis, a ranged god who uses traps. Considered to be very OP if used correctly.
Ra, a mage god who uses beams of light. Can heal the team aswell.
Sun Wukong, a physical warrior with jumping abilities. Can be very useful to the team.
Ymir, a magic warrior with support abilities. Can slow and stop enemies for the team.
Kali, a close range assassin with extremely high physical damage.

These are some of the gods/characters you play as.

You can do solo games and verse a bot. You'll be able to test any character in this. Even if you don't own them. It is a great way to find out how to build characters or even to find out what characters to unlock.

You need to level up to 6 to do Normal games. Otherwise you'll be stuck in novice. It's good for beginners.

Games / Can't find a specific addon for Garrysmod.

I've been looking for about an hour or so now and I can't find it.
It's a lua file that changes the AI relationships to be based on your player model. So If you have a combine player model, Zombies and Rebels will kill you. If you have a Zombie, Rebels and Combine will kill you. I don't remember what it's called and I've been googling this for a while now. :/

Blah, just found it. "Player Factions 3.0" Dunno why I didn't think of the word faction.

I know a lot of these topics have been made, and i've been sifting though a few.
I need some suggestions..
I like headsets with good quality speakers, as I use them for most of my games and stuff.
My last pair...
Super uncomfortable, and broke in the first month. I fixed them and they've required constant maintenance since, but they kinda grew on me with their sound quality.
I'm trying to stay within a maximum of $30 but lower is still good.

if anyone knows what D2jsp is, I used to use it a long time ago when I played Diablo II. Unfortunately my account was Disabled, Last year I made a new account to find out why my old account was disabled, that account now is also disabled. No emails, and I can't seem to find a support email for D2jsp. I can't figure out why these accounts were disabled.

Any ideas on how to solve my problem?

I've been trying to find people to play this remake of Cyber Wars with.
If anyone remembers Cyber Wars, it was a really old strategy game developed by Jagex.

The remake allows for good old fashioned multiplayer and you don't need an account to play.

Little how to play: This game is 1v1 only, and turn based.
You start off with commanders, if your commander dies you lose. Your commander summons monsters in which you use to fight your opponent. The more summons of one specific type, the easier that summon type becomes to spawn. You can also spawn holograms, they are only useful to scare the enemy.

Off Topic / my computer is acting strange.

For the past week my computer has acted a bit strange. This is most notable with the task manager. I have noticed that when I close processes. They sometimes just freeze and freeze my task manager. The programs aren't viruses and have never done this before. I've done multipple scans and haven't found anything. At first nothing else freezes. Just tsk mgr and said program. But it seems to get worse after a bit of usage and more things begin to freeze. Any clue to why this is happening?  Sorry for typos I'm using my phone.

This may be a little early to make a topic about, but I believe this game needs one.

Gunpoint is currently in development as of now so things might change before the release.
In Gunpoint, you play a freelance spy, who breaks into buildings and steals information. You use all sorts of gadgets to do so.

Everyone dies from one shot in Gunpoint, Including you, so avoiding confrontation is the best way to complete your missions. You can do so by using your Crosslink to hack into systems and devise traps, which might just be the best part of Gunpoint.

This is a video that shows gameplay and the objective of Gunpoint.

In the video he shows off the Crosslink and how it may be used to create traps, such as the Door Slammer he made.

Currently he hasn't placed a price on Gunpoint as he wasn't sure if he would leave it free or not. I honestly believe he should sell it, as it looks to be a good game.
The developer also mentioned he will hand out Beta's to those who email him and follow his twitter.

Off Topic / How do I reinstall Windows Firewall?

I recently noticed that my firewall was uninstalled during that virus attack I had recently. I'm pretty sure i've rid of the virus completely. But I cannot figure out how to reinstall Win 7 Firewall.

Any Ideas? Please only answer if you know what you are talking about.

Off Topic / Virus Need help. urgently!

some stuff pretending to be svchost.exe is attacking, shut my computer down twice, did some scans in safe mode, they found it but don't seem to be working.
I used Malwarebytes and did a full scan, using Rkill aswell.
The description of the "Svchost" was something along the lines of "winrscx" or some stuff.
