     This group of friends have decided to livestream videogames, we will stream every Saturday. Most of us will  be present at each time, but there are no guarantees that all four of us will be present 100% of the time.

General Discussion / Warp Drive

So my friend F-22 and I were messing around on his server when I discovered that if you fetch someone in the same vehicle a lot, you will  move forward, which reminded me of a warpdrive. No sorcery was done, honest. http://youtu.be/wlSXsSsgMO8
I didn't make this for any quality at all, it was captured and uploaded on the spot, no editing, no text, nothing.
Music was from BF2's expansion "Armoured Fury".

Games / Arma2 Megathread - Because the others were too old.

Disclaimer: This is based off of what I know. If you see any misinformation/missing information, this is my first megathread, please tell me what I am missing, and I shall add it.
                    About
Arma2 is a military simulator which takes place in "Chernogrsk" and "Utes". In the expansion(s) it takes place in Takistan.
In Arma2 there are many modes, such as deathmatch, capture the flag, which are in close quarter combat, withen 1 city. Then there is Warfare2 (commonly known as CTI (Capture The Island)) which takes up a 12x12 km(?) area, Utes is on an island, and Chernogrsk is near an ocean. In CTI, it can be against an Artificial Intelligence, which isn't intelligent, or against some of your friends. Sadly the AI does not fly any planes or helicopters unless you place them in via editor. The editor mode which allows you to create your own "missions".
                    Modification
Arma2 has a huge community, and also has modding support.  There are many mods, from zombie mods, to nuclear mods, to gore mods, and even realism enhancement. This game without mods, won't get boring like some games. Without mods, it can entertain you for many hours, due to the fact that it always is different if you play it again. But, if you were to get bored, you can get different mods. If you don't like the modern feel, theres WW2 mods.
                    Singleplayer
Single player, in my opinion, is terrible. I think it's boring, but some people may tell you its good, so I don't know if it's good, or bad, so I'll just tell you about it. The single player, you play as a soldier in Russia(?) and are performing strike missions against the Russians(?) I don't think there's any storyline, but that's all I know.
                    Question(s) I have about the game:
1: Are you able to modify the CTI gamemode?
I am wondering this because I haven't seen any mods that do not force you to use the editor, also searching comes up with no real answer, maybe this is because I don't know the official name for CTI?

Hello, like my previous thread a while ago, I am on the search for a game involving controlling a spaceship and fighting other spaceships. No, I do not want to spend $130 a year with EVE, Artemis spaceship game requires 2-5 people, so I can't play it often. Oh, and also don't suggest Gratuitous Space Battles, that is not what I'm looking for. So, I ask you, what is a good non-flash spaceship game.

Games / Arma2 Rendering glitch.

I have had a problem with my Arma2, it encounters a glitch which messes up the models, I've run it on every setting, and yes my computer is very capable of running this, I have Arma2 Operation arrowhead which is just as good as this graphic/detail wise and it does not occur. I've reinstalled, verifying integrity of game cache, adding -winxp to the launch properties, and none work. I've been searching for about 2-3 weeks now, and I need help, I can't find a solution, and they cause unplayable lag. Here are 2 pictures of the error:

As you can see, it is a rendering glitch. It only happens after maybe 1-3 hours, or whenever you get helicopters in the Capture the island gamemode, where you build a base, get soldiers for your squad, and capture cities.
I used to fix it by changing anything in the video options that make it re render the game, but now that's not working. So please, if you've encountered this issue and fixed it, please tell me how to fix it.

Gallery / New Portal Gun - Finally added pictures!

I know this isn't much of a topic, but I will try to edit it as we go along. There is a new portal gun that is on Brian Smith's servers, modeled by DarkStar. The model is more detailed then the other one, but it has quite a lot of bugs.
Some of the bugs include:
Portaling to the center of the map
Portaling through objects
Portals in portals
and Floating portals
There are probably (most likely) more bugs that I have not mentioned. But, let's look at some of the features:
More detailed model (I know I said that)
2 portals, with the use of one button
and a command to delete your portals

Yes, I'm looking for a game where you can design a spaceship and add weapons. I have recently taken an interest into finding a game like this I've tried google, I didn't find anything. I've tried Hazeron, but I don't really like that game too much, plus to me, the controls are more difficult then most games. So, any suggestions?

Games / Arma2 British Armed Forces question

Hello, I've recently got the addition for the game Arma2, Arma2 British Armed Forces. The only thing that it seemed to add to the multiplayer was the Armex, and a "Shaptur" CO OP mission. Is this all that the addition adds? I've searched already and I can't seem to see if anything else is added. Does anyone else have this addition? And no, the website didn't show anything useful.

Hello, and I was wondering if there was a way to do a auto turret were if a non admin steps on it, it activates a turret system. I am also wondering if this is possible without variables. (Note: I do have homing projectiles.)

OK, so the movie is about a guy who works at Burger King at after a few years, he becomes a billinaire. And than a robber takes half of a billon from him, and the billinaire and his brother must get find the robber and get the money back before he either deposits it into the bank or spends it.
