Off Topic / Just checking in for the first time in many years, how are we all?

Hey there everyone!
I was just watching this video in an ongoing series I've been following by youtuber Redlyne yesterday, and to my surprise, Blockland made an appearance!
This led me to have a little look at the forums for old time's sake.
I've not posted in over seven years now, although Blockland definitely has crossed my mind a few times.

It's so strange for me because Blockland was such a huge part of my childhood. I first started playing in 2005 when I was only five or six years old, and now it'll be the 20th anniversary of the game in a short amount of time. Don't even get me started on Age of Time. I remember that Green Hills were some of the very first words I learnt how to spell in life because of the old map loading screen.

I was very sad to see that there's been quite a few deaths in the community in recent years of people I remember playing with often, such as GSF Ghost and Bushido.
Have there been many others that I'm not aware of, I wonder?

It's nice to see that although the community has quietened down in the past decade, there are still occasionally events/reunions of players etc.

Life has been very good to me although definitely brutal at times too.
I do sometimes still game although there isn't much time to anymore when you're in your mid-twenties. I'll have to give Blockland a play over the coming days!

Off Topic / I've been BLACKED.

So I just found out that the L in Adam Wingard's Death Note film being released next year is black. Having used the anime character as my persona for many years, I find this offensive. And yeah, I know my in-game avatar is also pitch black but it's poetry for having a blank face and being annoymous. Also, what the forget is L doing out in public, he's meant to be a basement dweller like myself. Anywhos, Death Note (2017) discussion thread I guess.

Off Topic / [Blogland] Today I nearly died because of mint tea shower gel.

So this morning I was in the shower and I saw that we'd ran out of block-type soap. "Oh well, no worry, I'll just use this mint tea shower gel as a bodywash instead."
Now for the record, I have used mint tea shower gel before (and I am aware of it's tingling/numbing sensation) but only ever as a shampoo, never to wash my body with.
So I began rubbing it onto my face, and a little bit of the lather/foam went up my nose. Now during this, I guess I forgot to breath since I closed my mouth so I wouldn't eat any of the shower gel. Anyway, so I suddenly gasped for air and I managed to inhale all of the foam up my nose. It felt instantly like my entire sinus system was burning, then I felt dizzy and passed out.

I woke up like five minutes later with-now freezing cold shower water spraying over my body. I managed to land on the drain hole, meaning another few minutes and the shower would have filled up and I probably would have drowned. My shoulder and back are pretty badly bruised, but I escaped without injuring myself badly. I'm still not exactly sure what happened, however apparently the mint tea could have had a strong enough a scent - and been far enough up my nose that it worked as an "incapacitating agent". Kind of like that chloroform thing you use on women.

Environment Files / [Sky] Star Wars Battlefront Pack v1.0 (Endor)

When I was hosting my Star Wars Battlefront server, a ton of people were asking for the skybox I made specially for the server. Currently, my Battlefront server is still in BETA meaning more maps (and therefore skyboxes) are to come soon. If any of you want specific custom space skyboxes and I have time, I may be able to fulfil some requests that you leave in the comments below.

Help / Jes00's "Fixed Elevators" Add-On breaks interactive bricks.

So I downloaded Jes00's Server_Elevators Add-On which is a fixed version of Kalphiter's old elevators mod. The elevators themselves work fine, however whenever the Add-On is installed, ALL interactive content on my server resets after being loaded. What I mean by this is that if I remove the activate - self - door - toggle event line from an object (JVS or default door bricks) then save the build, after reloading it, the line will reappear. I believe the same goes for the onDoorClose/Open - self - playersound line too, though I haven't checked. Could someone check the server.cs file for me and see what the issue is?

Help / Silent vehicle spawning?

Is there any Add-Ons out there (or could someone create a quick one for me) which mutes the vehicle spawning sound AND removes the emitter effect when it spawns.

I need for a build, however pressing Download just 404s the page. All other RTB backups seem to be down too. Does anyone have another link for this? Also, can you please check your Add-Ons folder for "Event_setVehicleAsPlayerContr ol" and send me a copy if you do have it? Thanks.

Environment Files / [Sky] Solar System Planets v2.0

After Cordax released his awesome space pack, a lot of people were requesting similar skyboxes orbiting other planets in our solar system. Aside from Saturn which you can get in his space pack, I'm going to be releasing every other planet skybox. The sun is intentionally removed from most of the skyboxes so you can have your own custom sunflares.
