My first attempt trying to make a playertype. if anyone would care enough to give me advice, i'd very much appreciate it.

Now, you're probably wondering, Who the heck is this character?

Well.....

"#MS-903 "Doraemon" or simply Doraemon is the main, titular character of all Doraemon media (including, but not limited to the original manga, anime, video games, and movies). Doraemon's signature colour is blue and he is usually represented by the colour blue.
Doraemon is a blue robotic cat corresponding (tints of pink-orange in earlier manga chapters and media) from the 22nd century, who weighs 129.3kg (285.05lbs) and measures at 129.3cm (4'3") tall. He was manufactured on September 3rd in the year 2112, bearing the code MS-903, at the Matsushiba Robot Factory. Doraemon is considered a substandard product compared to other models because many of his robotic features (ie. radar whiskers and cat-calling V.ll) malfunctioned after production. During his manufacture, he got struck by lightning and lost an important screw that was part of his brain, thus affecting his performance in both his studies and towards society."

So basically, I have a huge interest in this character and the franchise that he comes from. I was arguing a long time ago about how Doraemon rarely gets credit in the anime and internet communities. I was gonna ask for someone to do something like this for me if they truly cared at all, but i imagined that they would have forgeted me over and did a horrible and horrendous job. If you've never watched Doraemon before, i suggest you go watch an episode of either the 1979 or 2005 anime. trust me, it won't kill ya. i think its probably the greatest anime in history. garbage like Pokemon or Dragon Ball Z deserves to have its animation reels and cels thrown in the trash.

You know, whenever im in a mood to just have fun, i just play a video game. Just like everyone else. However the only genre of games thats right up My alley is Platformers, as theyre very easy to pick up and play.
Except for Mega Man, that stuff is loving impossible.

Doraemon 2: Nobita and the crCIA in toyland!

If anyone here knows about Doraemon, call me a weeb all you want because i dont care. I loving love this franchise.

As for people who dont know about Doraemon:


Doraemon (Japanese: ドラえもん) is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Fujiko F. Fujio. The series has also been adapted into a successful anime series and media franchise. The story revolves around a robotic cat servant named Doraemon, who travels back in time from the 22nd century to aid a pre-teen boy named Nobita Nobi (野比のび太 Nobi Nobita).

So upon starting the game, it may look like an RPG to you. However, if youre curious and like to explore in games, youll eventually discover:



The game is actually a 2D platformer! It just has some RPG segments inbetween levels to pad things out.

Also, if the game looks anything like Super Mario World, thats probably because it should.

The gameplay is very traditional, you can walk, jump, stomp on enemies, the usual. However, you can also shoot weapons that are actually Doraemon's Gadgets from the anime!

Shooting isnt equipped by grabbing a power up, its actually a main key element to the gameplay!

So yeah, i have my own personal favorite 2D platformer. Any questions?

General Discussion / Server Concerns

You know, i've been playing blockland since i was 8, there was a lot more freebuild servers than there are now.

Nowadays whenever I go on the servers list, what do i see? a crap-ton of deathmatches, and barely any freebuilds.

The main point of Blockland is to build and hang with your friends, why have servers that detract from that matter?

You be the judge of that.

Modification Help / Why has no-one made any Doraemon related mods yet?

Most people nowadays are just praising crap animes such as Dragon Ball Z and Pokemon (seriously people, call it Pocket Monsters, that was the original name.) For those who are animeotically handicapped, Here you go:

I mean mostly what i want is either a playertype of Doraemon or Nobita, i would definitley go ahead and download either. and besides, i only know how to make face decals and brick prints, not weapons or other 3d objects or anything like that.

(AND BEFORE ANYONE DECIDES TO ACTUALLY MAKE PLAYERTYPES OF THE TWO, FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, PLEASE DONT USE THE 2005 DESIGNS)
